I tried this on yesterday at Neiman Marcus. Sprayed BR 540 on my left arm and Spice and wood on my right. I sat in the mall seating area and smelled each arm back and forth.The BR 540 disappeared immediately and couldn't smell it. Spice and wood is utterly amazing. I go home and about an hour later the BR 540 came back and good God. I was blown away. I went back today and bought it. Same thing. Nothing for an hour. An hour later.... Heaven
Noseblind. I honestly didn't even know it was a thing until I bought BR540. It was very disappointing, especially because of the cost, but once people started saying they could smell it on me, or asked what I was wearing, I knew it was good. I just learned to not overspray, although I actually really enjoy doing so... I smelled Spice/Wood yesterday and I wasn't very impressed. Its possible my nose was fatigued from smelling 15 other fragrances, so I will try it again another day...

@@raymondreddington9788 Look up "Crystal" by ALT; and "Interplay" by Alexandria Fragrances. They aren't exactly like BFR540, but they may a good alternative for you until then... Not to mention, they are MUCH less expensive.

therealmoneymarc I have a 70 ml bottle on the way. I’ll finish up a sample before I touch my bottle (or will I? LOL). Because it’s winter time here, I will probably make it last longer by spraying jackets (scarves), so it will last a few days on them. 😅😊

I am a 40 year old African American male and I wear this fragrance. Everytime I wear it, I get plenty of compliments. My wife loves this fragrance on me. MF Baccarat Rouge 540 is unisex. It smells great on a woman and it smells 2x great on men. Women love it when I have this fragrance on.
Fantastic review
I started layering this with Tom Ford Black Orchid to enhance some of the masculine essence and it has become the perfect combination for me. MFK540 has the elegance, but TFBO brings a dark aura. They are both pretty expensive, but great investments for those who love to be recognized upon immediately entering the room.

This is probably one of the best analyses of this fragrance I’ve seen/heard on UA-cam!
I only did a first impression video and I unexpectedly got what lots of people describe as a “dentist’s Office vibe”. I have, since then, sampled it several times, and though I still get that vibe, there’s so much more to this fragrance, that it keeps calling my name.
Long story short, I have a 70 ml bottle on the way. 😅😂😊

@@keltecdan I've had my male friend wear this and it smells delightful on him. it's different from the typical notes in men's fragrance, so it's a treat to smell something unique on a man. It's unisex in the sense that it's alluring to everyone. I'd be in awe if I met a man who wore this fragrance

As much as i like roja and can appreciate its depth and complexity when i wore this stuff people chased me down to asked me what i had on its like you have sparkles around you i prefer the edp over the extrait by far because the extrait just smell like a regular fragrance the smell of the edp isnt that good to me but the way it sparkles in the air is magical

I was recently gifted this in a sample. I fell in love with it...it smells more spicy than sweet to me...I don't smell it after I apply it, but others constantly compliment me on it. It is truly a beautiful translucent scent. The sillage is weak however.

I have the original and a clone by Fragrance World called Barakkat Rouge lol.. At first I wasn't sure of this, but as time went on, I started to enjoy it more. It's very sweet and florally, to a point where men might not like it as it might feel feminine ish. However, its so unique and complex, that men should definately try it, because you will get a ton of compliments
i dont pick the acuatic salty, i smelled like a pharmacy store candy sweet, i have a 50 plus collection and its my fovarite right now its very very sexy, yes in the cold its the best for using bacarat
This didn't work for me personally , it smelled like a crushed glass lolly on my skin. I felt like a little girl wearing it.

I know this is an old video but I must say...I've just gotten over covid and my sense of smell is OFF. I only smell bleach or chemicals, but I went cologne shopping today and I could only smell the middle notes of scents that had perfume. I got a hit of this fragrance and all I could smell was cotton candy. I decided not to buy it. 🙃
