Ramakrishna Mission was not created for doing Good work... It was created to show "Nishkarma Karma". If you reduce it to good work than u are still bounded in the chain of doing good which still creates Karma... Hence spiritual purpose is lost here... Ramakrishna wasn't a Social worker... he is a Spiritual Guru his job is to show us way out of this material creation and merge with the beloved.

You are a Nice gentle person and you resemble my Mamu a lot. I was Born and Brought up in Shillong close to Ramakrishna Mission. As a child I had many occassions Visiting RK Mission especially during Durga Puja. and beinga person by Nature who takes things straight Black and White could not really understand tha sadhus of RK mission their Lectures where something and their daily life activities were not at all matching up to what they were preaching. I could see in their eyes how they look at woman and that same moment how their eyes turn dull uninteresting while talking to man. I also saw how The sadhus Jump up and down in ecstasy when Governor Comes or Once Indira Gandhi came. The Duality in their personality Shocked me as i witnessed their personalities unfold. And till I left Shillong I did not see even one Sadhu worthy of Pranam from the Heart. hence I always avoided touching their feet. I felt that a sadhu should follow what they speak bluntly otherwise the witness seated in the Spiritual heart will Not awaken. As many years have rolled by I felt That I should tell all the Sadhus in RK Mission order you can only FOOL yourself. So get back into being a worthy sadhu, it will only Work best for you.

all these things you preach do u practice them... see the reason i am saying is once in 1980s a swami came from kolkata and huge crowd gathered in Shillong Mission and he said wonderful things, and i believed whatever he said, but than after the speech.
I happened to see him do a thing which was contrary to his lecture (it wasn't a big thing a trivial) so asked him isn't it not against what u said... in life you can't be perfect.... But let me tell u something I maintained my standards... i never lived in Grey area and i am proud of it....... The easiest way to god realisation is simple... The inside and outside has to be same. the job is done. what u say think should be same inside outside... god just loves such people. he starts to speak from within

How can all religions be true? Islam and Christianity clearly teach in their holy books that they and they only have the truth. Christianity says that if you do not accept Jesus and his death on the cross as the atonement you will burn in hell forever. Islam teaches that if you do not accept Muhammad as the last and final prophet you will burn in hell forever.

well all religions are misinterpreted and misused by the so called religious scholars , just to establish power . God who created us ,will never want us to burn in hell for petty issues. God tried to enlighten us through various ways (religion) but sadly everytime few followers took different turn and completely misguided the next generation followers and the trend continued, thereby , religion is the most controversial thing today.
