Still have my solve 8+ with literally 100% battery health. I’ve taken such good care of this phone and have not overused it over the years. I’m glad they don’t do the IOS 17 update for this. It’s sucks anyways from what I’ve seen. I will use this phone until I absolutely can’t anymore. The new ones just aren’t it … my finger print id still works beautifully, and it’s such a classic.
I have 73% battery health on mine which I’ve owned for four years, wouldn’t consider that too bad for an older phone. I’ve always had every single phone I’ve owned in a case and while my current one I’m on my third case it’s still been functioning at least at a decent rate. I’m upgrading to the 15 but considering I’ve owned this phone for 2 years longer than I wanted to, I could definitely envision myself owning the 15 for at least 4 years, maybe even up to 6 years depending on how well it does especially with how much more advanced phones have gotten.
I've literally bought one 2 days ago, in perfect condition, 256 GB Jet Black. I freaking love this thing. The only problem is the battery life, mine is 75% but that's alright, I can just replace the battery. I've upgraded from iPhone 7 Plus, and no, not because it was bad, I just shattered it in pieces and the battery expanded. I will fix it later, right now, the 8 Plus will give me joy, Still a great phone, I love playing PUBG:Mobile on both them. Funnily enough, both of them can run it on ultra settings.
Had mine since launch. Still love the 16:9 1080p screen - perfect for media. I’m one of the 10% of people who can’t use OLED due to PWM, so happy where I am!
Stop repeating the same thing that every other UA-camr says. iPhone 8 Plus is a great phone. There is nothing "off" about the colours on the iPhone 8 Plus. Besides it has a wide screen which better than the new silly long narrow design
I’m moving on from my 8 Plus to a 15 but this phone has lasted me for four years and at 73% battery health. They’re very well made and it’s been the best phone I ever owned so far, it’ll be some getting used to on how much better the 15 will be in comparison. For those who want something older and more affordable but don’t want something stripped down like an SE, the 8 Plus is great to have. Get a good case for it, don’t drain the battery to the point it dies, and you’ll be set for a while.
@@danieliusleo7063yes it is indeed smooth using it since launch not thinking of upgrading any time soon battery life might Be an issue for you but my power bank is always with me and it’s slim so I don’t mind it
Same. I also have the 256 gb version but I don’t use more than 60. Tbh I’m kinda tired of this phone though and wanna upgrade soon. Maybe I’ll get the 16 when it comes out
And for the user asking about security update. iPhone 8 Plus still gets security update. There was even a security update a few weeks ago
The iPhone 8 plus is great in 2024 and will remain one of the Best phone

if you can’t afford the newer iphones, the 8+ will be sufficient. fast and smooth for a 6 year old phone

Please Can I rely on this phone for the next two years (25/26) , And the apps will work fine or not ?
@@Ahmed-o2e4h They should still work fine. The iOS updates will still happen in the foreseeable future although it won’t go anything above 16
Watching this video from my iPhone 8 plus

Get yourself iphone 8plus.. it will give you good and nice battery and camera quality for sure, best decent set ever in iOS industry❤️
I still opt for an old iphone 8plus than any modern midrange android ones
True. I think i heard mkbhd say that prehistoric premium is better than a new pleasantly priced budget phone.
What is a good price for iphone 8+?
The iPhone 8plus is still good honestly
but replace battery on iphone 8 plus is more easier and cheaper than higher models like 11...
Yes this is my third call met I love the battery life on my iPhone 8 plus on standby the battery will last for the hole day and into the night
