Fights and Roid Rage in Bodybuilding / Killer Bodybuilders

- Whatever your personal opinion may be on the sport of bodybuilding or whether “roid rage” is a thing, you have to admit there have been an extraordinary number of murders, assaults, and other violence associated with members of the sport, both male and female. Although some believe that roid rage is a myth, research shows that even light usage of steroids causes aggression. Let’s take a look at some of the murders that have been committed by bodybuilders.
1. Sally McNeil
Sally McNeil (aka Killer McNeil) is a former professional American bodybuilder who, on March 19, 1996, was convicted of second degree murder in the 1995 Valentine's Day shooting death of her husband and fellow bodybuilder, Ray McNeil. The relationship between two was volatile and they often fought because of Ray’s many affairs with other women. Ray McNeil had taken to beating his wife, in public and in private. The scars were visible, the bruises and broken bones obvious. On the valentine’s night, things got worse as Ray did not return home till late. Jealousy sparked a revenge rampage in Sally and after a brief fight she pulled a shotgun on her husband and killed him. Sally McNeil was sentenced 19 years to life for her conviction.
2. Bertil Fox
September 30, 1997, would be a day that would forever change the life of bodybuilder Bertil Fox and leave a 20-year-old beauty queen and her 36-year-old mother dead.Fox, a two-time Mr. Universe who was known as “Brutal Fox” during his career, had previously been engaged to beauty queen Leyoca Browne. Her mother, Violet, owned a dress shop on the island of Saint Kitts. Fox entered the shop on that fateful day. An argument ensued, shots were fired, and both women were killed. Fox claimed that the deaths were accidental and occurred while he was struggling with Violet over the gun.
Even though the evidence was compelling, his first trial ended with a hung jury. Fox received a second trial, was found guilty of murder, and was sentenced to hang. His lawyers appealed, and the death sentence was overturned. He was then sentenced to life in prison.
3. Craig Titus & Kelly Ryan
Kelly Ryan and her husband Craig Titus were stars in the world of professional bodybuilding. On December 14, 2005 the burnt corpse of Ryan and Titus' personal assistant and friend Melissa James was discovered inside a Jaguar car belonging to Kelly Ryan. After fleeing cross-country, the couple was arrested in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Titus and Ryan told that they took James into their home to manage a fitness clothing business they wanted to start, but evicted her after they said they discovered she was looting their bank accounts. Craig Titus admitted to an affair with James. He pleaded guilty on May 30, 2008, to second-degree murder, kidnapping, and arson. Titus was sentenced to 21 to 55 years in prison. Ryan was sentenced to two consecutive terms of 3-13 years in prison. On October 24, 2017, Kelly Ryan was released on parole after serving a nearly 9-year prison sentence at a Las Vegas area prison.
4. Gordon Kimbrough
San Francisco bodybuilder Gordon Kimbrough shocked his family, friends and the rest of the world after he was convicted of murdering his girlfriend of four years, 27-year-old aerobics instructor and award-winning amateur bodybuilder Kristy Ramsey. On June 20, 1993, Ramsey had just returned from an amateur bodybuilding competition in Durham, North Carolina when Kimbrough arrived home. Ramsey told Kimbrough that she was calling their upcoming wedding off and admitted that she recently had an affair. Enraged, the 250-pound Kimbrough hit the 137-pound Ramsey across the face before wrapping an electrical cord around her neck three times and stabbing her twice in the throat with a kitchen knife. On April 3, 1995, Kimbrough was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to 27 years to life in prison.
5. Chris Benoit
Chris Benoit was a Canadian professional wrestler.
Benoit had murdered his wife in the residence on June 22, 2007, had killed his 7-year-old son on June 23, and on June 24 had committed suicide, reportedly hanging himself using equipment in a weight-training area located in the residency basement. Later research undertaken by the Sports Legacy Institute suggested that depression and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a condition of brain damage, from numerous concussions Benoit had sustained during his professional wrestling career were both likely contributing factors leading to the crimes. When the toxicology report was released, and steroids were found to be in his system, speculation arose about the possibility of “roid rage” occurring and causing him to snap.

Было дело🤔иду как то по алее, гуляю🤗и вдруг смотрю парень качок скамейки переворачивает одну за другой😯и прям мы всё ближе и ближе к друг другу🤢смотрю скамейки закончились😨и он с интересом смотрит на меня😨а мне чё делать🙄я иду как шёл так и иду🙄чё то не стал он меня бить🤔видимо скамеек хватило🤗и остатков мозгов🧠чтоб не испортить себе жизнь.
