- This one sparks joy.
I got really tired of my evil playthrough and needed a relief. Still, I found some interesting bits and pieces of companions reaction and hope to share it later.
You can see how he gives himself a pep talk in hins mind "AAAAH!! Come on, come on, Astarion, you have to genuinely ask for help and your life acutally depends on it! You can't die because of Immaturity!"

Elven Knight I was studying at gymnazium and I cheated everything for about 4 years. Consequently I know NOTHING about for example physics.
I've done nothing but watch Astarion and listening to his dialogue for the past 4 hours.
His voice is just so.. silky. Dripping with sweet venom. Whoever voices him does an incredible job. Also helps that he-as a character- is an interesting one.
4 hours well spent)
I'm fairly sure it's Neil Newbon that voices him. I only really know him from Detroit Become Human, but his performance in that pales in comparrison to what I've seen (or heard) of him in Baldur's Gate so far.

He doesn't leave his spot asaik. But I didn't leave him alone for long, so can't be sure about his survival.
Wyll dies? How? I don't really want to bother recruiting him because I won't use him but man I don't want him to die alone. That's just too sad

Why does it seem like the npcs are 90% evil
Astarion and Shadowheart are both evil characters, and Wyll and Gale are neutral. They started with those, and will be introducing companions of other alignments along the way.
