So I too bought these --I haven’t actually worn them cause my initial impression was like wow they are so stiff ! They do feel super secure and gives you a sense of ultra security for my ankles too--but I don’t feel nimble in them due to weight and stiffness---but I’ll leave a follow up once I put some time in on them……good video !
They really require a good break in period the manuals always say that they're not supposed to be walked in (cause you're supposed to be on a bike) but idk how you'd break them in then.. once they're broken in they should be a lot less stiff thou. Leather moto boots (they like to call them "adventure" boots) are even more soft and I think the one pair of leathers I had was the only pair that I could run in out of the box
Do love a good leather moto boot! I had an O'Neil pair of leathers that I absolutely loved because of how flexible and comfortable they were. Currently ride in leatt 4.5 but I have a pair of fly racing fr5 that are my winter boots or whenever I want to be extra locked in because they're larger. Latches is seriously an amazing solution. I had bought a pair of moto boots years ago to wear as winter boots because I work outside at night year round. Absolutely loved them I think they were fly mavericks and now I wear moto boots year round. Great ankle stability and I'd hate to come down on my feet in normal shoes.. I don't know if I've ever actually rode either of my wheels in regular shoes
love them boots always best to have them type of boots for safty and i agree it makes the wheel more stable like a steering damper loved the whole video keep up the good work mate
Nice-sized boots. I bought some Gaerne Balance Boots Oiled ones but yet to ride them, but wish they were two inches shorter (kneepad spacing). I'm a new EUC rider so I figure I'd learn with the better gear right off; Leatt X-frames, Icon body/legs, etc. I figure starting out bulkier/better protected will only help as I learn to go faster. Usually you see people start with crap/cheap gear and work up to solid things, but then later they feel weird riding because it's stiffer/less nimble feeling with solid protection.
Hey everybody...Look over here. I found the slow kid in the class, still talking about wearing Chuck Taylors. Kid wants to gets his nails torn off as he slides down the road.
People call me space boots because I wear mine year round every day but yeah anytime someone approaches me to ask about them it's always "are those ski boots" x.x
Hi.. I have been looking for a motorcycle boots myself as well.. I am between Forma Terra Evo, Sidi Adventure 2 and Gaerne Dakar... have you tried the Sidi and Gaerne?. I read the reviews of the Terra Evo and they said the sole is very stiff.. i am wondering what is your experience when seating riding? Are you able to flex comfortably the toes area of the boot?. Thanks in advance.
Hi, sorry I haven’t tried any other boots than the forma. The sole is rather stiff but it’s never been an issue for me and with insoles they feel nice. Check my videos I ride seated all the time and it’s been good. The boots are very stable and make a big difference in my EUC riding
I've been riding in these boots every day for two years now
They are amazing honestly and show so little wear and tear
Worth every cent

Give them a shot, mine broke in quite nicely and are not too bad to wear around now

I have those. They are clunky, but they do protect the shin from errant pedals. I've gotten used to riding the EUC in "ski boots".

I been riding with Alpine Star motorcycle boots for 3 years now!! I still can’t ride backwards!!🤪

@PEVPOV what insoles are you using?
@@c300theone just some cheap dr. Scholls insoles they sell them at many stores and pharmacies
But do you feel confident in them??
Maybe this is why after less than a year of riding I ride faster/better than seemingly a majority of the euc reddit :o clowns
