lol yeah, the original design was a really fast bomber, but then a big wig decided arbitrarily that it should also be a dive bomber and so the airframe got upgraded to deal with the stress of dive bombing and made the plane a lot heavier and this slowed it down a lot, reminds me of the story of the HE177 a lot.

well u can use your dive speed to climb or to fly fast on the deck.
