In true honesty, Abhinav Bindra spent his own money and life to get the gold medal. He survived because he had the finances to help himself. He is an absolute legend of an athlete who overcame his shortcomings by spending money and working really hard to ensure that he gets to the highest level of fitness and health with his amazing focus on the sport he was so much invested into.
While, Neeraj Chopra is raw, his struggle is entirely different just like his entirely different sport of Javelin throw. His fitness, recovery, and the journey is equally inspiring and polar opposite of Abhinav Bindra.
That's the best part of the sports. You have two polar opposite people sitting on an Olympic Gold Medal each and inspiring everyone equally. No matter what your financial situation is, no matter what is your social status, no matter what is your way towards life, these two people are the heroes we all deserve.

This shows why Indians don’t win at Olympics. The amount of intra country differences are crazy. People are here calling Bindra egoistic, spoilt, pampered, rich brat. But sometimes money cannot buy anything. He cannot get his time he’s spent on his work back neither could he get someone to work hard for him. He’s put efforts, he got the results, so obviously he’ll boast. He has full and final rights to rant and boast. He is not someone sitting just being a citizen of country doing something extraordinary for nothing. His saga took 13 years to be broken, not a joke. He’s just stating what all he did to win; if you find it boastful, you’re just jealous. He’s not showering his riches everywhere. He’s said he’s grateful for what all he has plus he has stated that he was lucky to get all the facilities. Had he not gotten them we would’ve been crying and looking at neighbouring countries winning till now. coming to Neeraj he’s obviously a legend, he’s taking Abhinav’s legacy forward. Both are good in their fields and both have achieved extraordinary. It’s scary how Indians have so much expectations from Olympians, and after they win they sit and judge them😒

Welll how many rich people we have in India, and how many of them have gold. abhinav is in my opinion one of the great of indian athlete.Indians love to dance on victory, but when athletes say about efforts then its bragging for them. I am pretty sure NC would have reverted to some of the comments by others if they were spoken in Hindi. Tone of host was very disrespectful towards NC. My respect to Abhinav has become ZERO ANDA now. Just flaunting gauky english words and try to exaggerate things in such movie type way and ignoring your mate in such a way now shows that how pissed off you are actually with Neeraj's popularity. Listen, before throwing this judgemental words, watch his previous videos. He’s not using those words to show off, that’s how his personality is. He didn’t make a pompous show of his win even on the Olympic podium; plus what’s wrong with drinking liquor if he wants to? Young generation is not crazy to follow everything others say. He has already inspired generations and hasn’t taken a ‘theka’ of pleasing people like you. Coming to him being ‘disinterested’ or maybe egoistic or ignoring; that’s the way he is. He can’t help it he’s born like that; he’s a man of few words rather it was surprising to see him talk the amount he’s done here. Why will he be jealous of something which he’s already achieved? He has enough respect, money, popularity and whatever he has wished for. Plus he wasn’t boasting, he’s stating whatever he did, if you find it as a movie or anything, it’s your small jealous mindset! He has much more laurels to him pertaining to the fact that Neeraj is younger and junior to him. Please start respecting people who are worth respecting; no wonder Indians cry for a single gold medal, because of ‘janta’ like you!

I just want two things from Olympian Niraj Chopra one is not to learn English and other is I want him to always speak in his mother tongue in all the upcoming interviews for the rest of his life. In India roughly 1 bin people speak in English but no body from that population get a gold medal this year that shows one thing we don't need English fluency to become either confident or an Olympic gold medalist. This thing will change the mind of many who thinks u need affluence to become a great person. Just raw talent with rock hard mindset and ability to work hard at any circumstances creates a success.

People are bashing a language like it’s some sort of crime to speak in English it’s fine it’s ok people sitting in the interview don’t mind that what’s your concern? If they are conducting an interview they must’ve already told them how they are going to talk
