The ecosystem idea, working on the same set of tools to improve them indefinitely, rather than re-releasing the same-old compressor/eq algorithms over-and-over in fancy new GUIs was a huge refresher for the scene.
at around 41:00 the question about what would the frequency foldback sound like? it would sound like a "bitcrush" plugin doing sample rate reduction, it has somewhat of a formant-ish sound, the "other" peaks being the folded back frequencies. I love this nerdy stuff :D
