    I tried solving an exam question on closed traverse, we needed to find the coordinates of each station. But summing up the latitudes and departures isn’t equating to zero

      @@iwumezieuche8321 If you did calculations right in a close traverse for latitudes and departures, then sum of all latitudes should be zero and same is for departures. If it is not zero then it means it is not a close traverse. Maybe the measurements taken for length and bearings have errors.

      Pls what if we need to fix a point F mid way an open traverse between A and E and we are asked to find the coordinates of all points, lengths and bearing of CF. Assuming A as origin with coordinates 0,0
