In this episode, we head to the shop to install the center console and rub rail. The console is installed without the use of any screws or bolts. It is completely fiberglassed for the most secure bond to the hull.

I think your build series is going to turn a lot of people on to Doopers operation. It doesn’t seem like he cuts any corners and over builds the hell out of these things and shows how a boats supposed to be built. Can’t wait to see what the 300 V8 does.

I’ll add, lower gunnels also make it a lot easier to get a big fish, like Bluefin Tuna in the boat.. Your Boat is coming along very nicely!

Are those Gemlux Friction Hinges? I added them on my Livewell lid they were a big improvement to keep the lid from slamming. Looks like they’re using Gemlux hardware. Might be good on floor hatches to save toes and fingers.
