If you have not subscribed yet, then you need to!!! This guy can flip TFs! Excellent video again mate. Camera angles are always excellent. No shaky videos and constant moving the piece around, which plagues so many other reviewers. Attention to detail to explain the force, tension and directional rotations of pieces and parts during the flip are brilliant and well balanced. Easily my go -to now for TF transformations. keep up the good work mate.
Man this is a gorgeous piece, I’m looking forward to mine as well as seeing the rest of scrappers mates. You’re the first person I’ve seen to show the great pose potential as well.
XTB is going to have go hard on their combiner. It’s crazy how both XTB and FT devastator is looking really amazing 🔥🔥. I’m probably going to get 4 sets ((2x XTB (toy and tune) and 2x FTs). I will make one of my FB sets that combine mode.
Hey, you are the first person in UA-cam to make a full review of Fans Toys Gehry, RockFX! Congratulations! My thoughts about getting this figure have changed considerably from the initial "Absolutely not!" to "possibly" the more I have seen pictures and videos of it. First I thought the shade of purple was wrong, but that was fixed before the release. I also thought that it looked way too bulky, and it kind of does, but only from the legs. Thanks for showing that comparison picture to the cartoon model. I still don't have any Constructicon figures, since I only collect Masterpiece scaled ones, and this particular character, Scrapper, is the one that will decide which manufacturer's set I will buy. Looks aside, I'm really impressed about this figure's engineering. There are some really clever solutions done to achieve the cartoon look as well as possible in all three forms. Also, that combiner leg mode is indeed impressive. I didn't know it has an ankle tilt, too, so thanks for showing that. It looks like the combined Devastator will be really tall, just like Fans Toys' Superion.
I couldn't stand it at first, but the alt mode is actually growing on me. Mine's on its way, I can't wait to use your guide to transform it. Another great video! I'm glad you got loads of views, you deserve it.
The alt mode looks pretty much like the G1 animation model. It was never anything much to look at. Hoping you've got yours by now. Thanks for the kind words my friend.
I do think the bot looks mostly quite good, although I do think he looks a bit too wide in the hips, but the alt mode looks extremely rough around the edges. I don't know, there's something about it that doesn't grab me. as an all round figure I preferred XTB' Big Load as a first release for their Constructicons, so I think I'l be going in that direction. Great review though. 👍
YOO how in the world you have this already? I have been paid in full on my pre order and ain’t even get a tracking number yet from 🇨🇳!! Who is your 🔌 . Just askin so I can get my drops before it’s officially released.
Its a horrendous looking vehicle, its like they just thought sod it that'll do. FT usually so good in both modes 😕 and then to compound it they have no waist swivel in bot mode, very toon accurate but ultimately im disappointed and will be sticking with xtb i think. Their long haul was great
What’s amazing to me is why couldn’t Hasbro take theirselves serious, take their customers seriously and attempt to refine and build or try to build wonderful pieces such as this and make and keep the company profitable developing and creating premium figures and being part of a wonderful cultural contribution. But to reference a saying that I came up with a while ago is “They are so greedy they aren’t greedy enough” ✌️
@@collectorsalmanac Ya know I’m not quite sure how much R & D and modeling a figure costs and how that becomes incorporated into the price. I can offer this insight though. I’m a jewelry designer and that means I have to make prototypes and models before I would sell a piece. I deal with precious metal and gemstones which are a lot expensive on its base then I would imagine plastics in general. That being said it’s really not that costly at all in general to prototype and model in the jewelry world so I can’t see how liquid plastic is less accessible compared to metals and gemstones so I would think it’s has little to do with costs. If you were to say it takes time as these are complex puzzles then that would make much more sense to me. But that’s their job right so it’s not my problem. Furthermore Hasbro is a huge company and has well established supply lines from 40 years ago (4 decades). If some no name 3rd party can achieve a high quality figure why should the who co sponsored that entire thing can’t? The answer is quite simple, they simply don’t care, are greedy and are resting on their laurels. By all means I say Hasbro create a well made figure and charge me premium pricing, but they can’t because they don’t and Connor acquire the people skilled enough to achieve that. The days of me thinking for the poor companies are over as those companies are not considering you or me. Peace friend ✌️
@@JW-dc8hk When it comes to something this technical its a case of modeling it in 3D first, refining it, producing 3D printed samples to make sure tollerances are correct, making sure its the right plastic, diacast, etc. Then its getting it produced, needing moulds created( VERY EXPENSIVE), refining said moulds, making sure its produced correctly and no misflowe of plastic, then its getting it painted correctly ( as all of these are colour correct to the show) testing which paint works best on plastic, which on metal etc. For a small company like FT doing this, itll probably less of a cost but still very expensive. Where as Takara would have a full team working on one product just to design it, one team for paint etc.
I do wish xtransbots and fanstoys would rotate instead of copying each other step for step. This isn't the first time they have done this, and it leaves the customer having to pick and choose.
I would say it's more Fans Toys who is the problem on this topic. X-Transbots usually showcases something and then Fans Toys brings out their version to counter it.
That alt mode is crap. Not sure who wanted a MP that looked like the toy from the 80’s but not what I’m going for in my collection. I mean it’s cool if it has some kick backs to the original. But let’s be honest the original wasn’t the best as well. For this price it should look like the actual vehicle it is supposed to turn into. Not what ever that is.
The actual vehicle would never be lime green, either, so if a realistic vehicle mode is what you want, you had better to get something else than Generation 1 version of Scrapper.
Well, Fans Toys is not big on deviating from the cartoon aesthetics too much. Front-loader vehicles are not really much to look at to begin with and you poiunted out, the original wasn't the best as well.

Hey my friend, you cool? Thank you for the kind words man. Much appreciated.
This figure is super fun to transform. Not too difficult and not too easy. Just enough to pose a bit of a challenge. Thanks for the great video
Yes, it's just right. Thanks for watching.
I like your review, it's very informative for an MP collector! Good review! Keep up the good work.
Thank you my friend and thanks for watching.

Well, there is a Devastator wars going on between the companies now so quite a few to choose from. Thanks for watching.
Im only buying this for that sweet sweet trumpet! .... and the combined mode.
That trumpet though... well worth it.
❤️🔥❤️🔥GREAT VIDEO AS USUAL❤️🔥❤️🔥
I CANT WAIT TO DO A STOP MOTION WITH THESE GUYS🎬📸📺😱🤩🤯
You're stop motions are awesome man.

Im waiting for Tfsource to send mine out so I can review it love the video
Cool. What's your channel? I'll look out for it.
I will collect the combined FT mode! But I'll wait for VectronLab Toys
Vectronlab, is that still going?
Looked just like G1 animation in robot and alt and leg form. Wow
Absolutely. Thanks for watching.
Good lord... I already have two Constructors.... yet I am intrigued.
Intrigue... that's where it all starts.

Thank you my friend. I think both FT and XTB have done a great job with their first Constructicon releases. I'm loving it.
If you don’t mind me asking, where did u get him and how?
I pre ordered it the moment pre orders went up on Omegalock UK.
Amazing figure, but that Devestator knee joint is going to be an issue...
The knee joint, you think so, why? Seems quite sturdy to me.
How many Freedoms is a gram?
1 pound is 453 grams
You take the grams and divide it by 453 and you'll get it in pounds
See above
There you go.

Yeah, the alt mode is not the greatest looking. The back half is good but the front half, not so much.

Hasbro dont want the hassle. Takara would have if they released them worldwide.
@@collectorsalmanac So they aren’t a good company any longer because that hassle is our passion as collectors. Sad
@@JW-dc8hk Have you remember that R&D is expensive on expensive figures like this. Look at how many figures Takara release in MP Scale. Its not a lot.

Thank you for watching.
Looks good. I just don't like the canopy on his butt.
That's fair.
I do like the bot mode. Alt mode looks rough and unfinished. The amount of money for no waist swivel and ab crunch, is gonna be tough to swallow.
The alt mode pretty much looks just like the G1 animation model and that didn't look that much either. Thanks for watching.

Sadly he doesn't look very toon accurate

Ngl, it not being the entire shovel just chilling on his back is kind of a deal breaker. Hate the shovel being collapsed like that
The way the shovel is situated on his back is just like the G1 animation model.

And no ratchet joints too. Very disappointing
In the arms, no. In the legs, the knee and hips, yes.
Bro, that alt mode such a trash, and no waist swivel for a Masterpiece figure, what is this mainline figure from hasbro lmao
priortiy was def on combined mode
It does have a limited waist swivel, you have to undo the back and take the wheels out but its there.
Well, the alt mode in the G1 animation model didn't look much either. No waist swivel, yeah, that does leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.
Yeah, you can tell. The combine mode leg is very solid.
Overprice Trash
Not everybody.
