Lots of chainsaw work and a little bit of dremeling, some burning and finish and we got ourselves a welcome bear!

Thanks. No Problem.
Вы крутые ребята! Привет из России
Very nice. I love seeing 2 guys that can work together without having to baby step around each other. It turned out great.
Thanks , yeah I think we got it down to a science now, working together.

Отличная работа парни! 👍
Absolutely beautiful, you two gentlemen are true artists .

Beautiful and unique. Will you see the tree sprouting new growth on any surface?
Thanks. No it will not sprout. once the bark is removed it will be dead.
Absolute excellent work 🔥 masterpiece 👍
Thank you! Cheers!

That's a great bear. Gotta little bit of a roman nose on it. The face and eyes really pop. Amazing!!
Thank you! Cheers!
@@CarverKingsOfficial yeah, it's beautiful. I haven't tackled chainsaw carving yet. But, I will refer to you guys as a great example.
good job!!!

Wicked lads

Beautiful shiny eyes!
Thanks
Probably I will wear a 😷 Mask when chains saw running..
Mask is a good idea
Do you have a DVD Wood Carving Bear Instructional available. Thx, Awesome work.
Not yet! but its something i'm thinking on
Very nice! What did you seal it with?
Thompsons Timber oil
Thanks guys! Keep doing great work!
What kind of finish/stain are you putting on the bear at the very end. I recently started carving and would love to know the finishing touches
Thompsons Timber oil Natural
What kind of dremel are you using ?
Nice💪🏼 have you made your flap sander or bought that somewhere?
Both we use sandoflex. Sander and also make our own with strips of sandpaper and a bolt and washers
Very nice, beautiful work. I been esitating on trying to do a carving. What do you charge for a bear carving.
It depends on the project. $1500 and up from there.
What is that stain/sealer you used. It looks great!
It's by Thompsons Water Seal, Timber Oil NAtural
I love it, how do you get it burn so nice. I have tried several touches. What are you using?
You need a hot torch. I use propane /oxygen torch set
@@CarverKingsOfficial I have used just a propane but one with oxygen. That would explain why your touch burns hotter.
Yes for sure. Especially if the wood is wet or green at all.
What's an average cost of something like this, and what's the life expecting
Onsight carving like average around $2500 . depends on location type of wood . They will last for years if taken care of. I have some well over 10 years old. They last even longer when removed from the ground.
Awesome job guys!! Beautiful! I have a question though... That flap sander you guys used in the drill, what is it??? I think I need to invest in one... Where do I get one? Thanks! 😁✌️
It’s called Sandoflex. You can Google it. Or Lee valley sell it
@@CarverKingsOfficial awesome! Thanks!! 😁
What bars were used… is the older/wiser guy using a stock bar or larger tip carving bar…sorry don’t know your names. Great vid thanks..like the music too!
Older and definitely wiser guy is Paul and younger good looking guy is Jacob Lol The bigger bar on the 562 is Cannon supertoonie. It;s like a narrow stock bar. 3/8 LP sprocket and chain
I wan the scraps you guys get for my small hobby work
Great come get them
If it is not an owl then its an eagle but it is a bear.... Carvers know only one of 3!!!
Ok sure, have you seen our other videos. Wyvern or dragon head. Sorry to burst your bubble but we carve all kinds of stuff.
No sir, I've fish, Bigfoot, a logging truck, a prospector and I even saw flipper! Supply and demand sir.
🤦♂️
Very nice work , is the bar on 562XP Cannon Supermini ?
YEs it is
@@CarverKingsOfficial Thanks a lot , i enjoy sculpting in wood 346 XP & 562 XP was on discount and i bought both of the saws.346 with 18"bar pulling .325 chain and 562 with solid nose 20" bar equipped s with 3/8" chain.346 responded acceptable to old old chainsaw carving habits but with the 562 I was about to come close to eat it in the middle of my face for a few times so I was looking for a solution to make this saw usable I am not carving mostly doing some abstract work without too much tricky cuts but still it's better to change that solid nose logging bar i guess. Thanks a lot.
@@K1To749 Great saws. Oh my yes need to be really careful. I use the cannon supermini with 3/8 low pro. But still have to be carefull and use proper technique when cutting with the tip
What are the galleries hours Thanks
Right now, basically if my truck is there , we are open. Lol. We are usually around late afternoon and on weekends .
how much does it cost to have it like this in my house?
It depends where you are and how big the tree is.
Why paint the letters then burn?
It's just to cover the wood as burning does not darken inside the letters very well. But if you spray paint it and burn it blacks it out.
Looking forward in making a trip to Shakespeare to meet you guys and checking out your gallery. Could you sent me your address. Thanks
We are just east of the pie store in Shakespeare
