I was 10 years old, living in Israel, it was my 2nd ESC I watched. Already from the Kdam (Israeli national final) I had a feeling Israel would win. I was right and it was Israel's first victory. Funny story: in Israel you weren't able to watch the points awarded until the end because the satellite was needed for the transmission of a box fight. The good thing was, however, that when the Israeli TV had to stop the broadcast, Israel was leading and it was no longer possible for any other country to catch up, so at least the celebrations were able to start immediately.
Oh what a fab song . Great seventies music . I had the pleasure of meeting Izhar here in TelAviv two days ago . What an amazing kind man . I’ve been a fan of his for over 40 years . I was so happy and smitten to have met him . Well done Izhar . Best regards Maureen x
HI Andy! Great reaction and I'm glad you liked our first ever winner. And great t-shirt by the way :) Can you please react to Austria 1980? Thanks and kisses!
main line is - gibrish mix in hebrew for I love you, and the song is talking about the saying of I Love you , and reflecting of the later b and on the textual expressions of it , so its cleaver but still happy and circling right. read the translation but in hebrew u also understand the textual games there so the song is really fun equality poetry by itself it is prob why it won.
and head singer is a beautiful very multi talented moving gental soul - 3 winners from Israel ever- are actually Yamani jews- having deep traditions in arts and spirituality
Bilal Bagguette heyyy! We can go one better than that! Andy already reacted to Jesus Matador last year: ua-cam.com/video/YFAmHD2mn2c/v-deo.html enjoy! ❤️
In my opinion it wasn't the best in 1978, although I think it's an OK, catchy song very well performed. My favourite that year is Luxembourg 1978 (Baccara). I think I have already asked you to react to it whenever it's good for you. Thank you. Great reaction.
The song is so good and catchy !!

Andy can you react to Israel first performance in Eurovision history 1973 Ilanit or the same artist Ilanit 1977? Or even both of them :)
React to Marcin Patrzalek! Not a esc relate, but his talent is cool! He is from Polska
