An evening with Hugh Johnson OBE

So, after a wonderful ‘lockdown’ evening together in 2021 over Zoom, Anna is thrilled to have Hugh Johnson OBE back online again. This time, the pair will talk about some of Hugh’s life in wine and some of his favourite tipples from The Wine Society. They will be exploring some classic wines from regions like Bordeaux and Chablis; more up-and-coming areas and ‘hot picks’ like Ventoux; and all bookended with some optional delights from sherry and Normandy.
Hugh will taste the wines throughout the session as well as doing exactly what he does best, spinning excellent stories about their provenance, history, and their future too.
