Everyone is focused on Celebrini but Will Smith actually outplayed Celebrini at Sharks development camp. Smith has gained 10 pounds of muscle since college ended. He is really hitting the gym to improve his strength. Smith could be a monster within the next 2-3 years.
Don't get me wrong...Celebrini still looked great. His overall skill package is better than Smith's. But he just needs to get stronger.
I agree that Will Smith will have more points at the end of the year. Competition between them will make them better. Go Sharks!
Thank you for the insight! 🙂
Good show!
Thanks, really appreciate it! 🙂
Nice breakdown, just subscribed! :)
Thank you, really appreciate it!
As a long time Sharks fan, I actually wish that Celebrini and Smith DON'T play in the NHL this year. The Sharks need to tank and collect draft picks for another three to four years before they have ANY decent prospects. They got the Vlasic and Couture contracts weigh them down for the next few years, then they pick up a stupid contract with the Brclay Goodrow waiver clam (which will be hard to trade because they can't retain salary since they hit their limit on retaining salary with the Burns, Hertl, and EK65 trades). Then they pick up Tyler Toffoli, so they improve just enough to ruin their draft chances, but not enough to be a team worth watching.
Celebrini, Smith, and Toffoli will play this year, so looks like you won't watch
@@voightkampffchamp ikr lmao what a take, I think that these are the best moves for the development of these young players, they need a higher challenge than NCAA and they have proved that. They’ve earned the NHL opportunity, don’t get me wrong there will be a learning curve and challenges, but they’re driven to be the best and they’ll be alright
I’d say tank time is over. Winning culture starts soon.
