I bought a 24 4Runner about 3 weeks ago, sr5 4x4 9k miles, OTD 41k … in my area there was only 4 with less than 30k miles. The typical new generation people will buy, loyalists will hang onto what they have, and when it settles, usually 4-5 years with issues, everything should be good. But I had to get the 4.0 with the 5 speed ❤
In the next few months ppl will be on the look for 5th gen 4 runners because that 1GR-FE its gone for the North American Market permanently except Emirates, south Asian countries and south America will still get that motor in the 70 series,Hilux,LC 300 and fortuners.

Man that's interesting, seems like people are waiting and seeing on the new engines...
I agree, I have the new engine in my Tacoma and love it. But our 4Runner has given us zero issues for years.
I dont understand why toyota downgraded their suv lineups for this,
The lc250 is definitely not worth 65 plus grand, thats a complete scam. For a crap 4 cyl turbo.
u need a microphone that doesn't pick up ambient noise
I do indeed
