In case you guys are still wondering, the reason it's cut is because this is the UA-cam channel of the opera singer who sang in this episode so the clips are only of the parts where he sang.
Can't even watch this episode, it tears me up. Nostalgia and the sense that nothing will ever be as good as this programme to little old me from back in the day.
This episode first aired on May 6, 1998. Also, the tenor singer who plays the head surgeon is played by Agostino Castagnola, who has an amazing voice! He sounds like liquid gold.
I randomly remembered this and decided to look it up. I watched this in swedish so i can't sing along but its great to be able to rewatch this years after
🎵🎵 With these glasses I bethrone to you, the knowledge and skill. That is quite for you 🎵🎵 Man oh man I like that part of the song and episode when he says and sings that
“Look at the size of his cranium!” Forget the size of his head, how about the fact that he’s so small that he can fit in the palms of her mother’s hands.
"with these glasses, i betroth to you the knowledge and skill that is quite far and few." they really didn't have to go that hard, but i am thankful they did.
Oh, I always thought that button Deedee pressed at the beginning reversed time to Dexter's birth creating an eternal time-loop. Guess it's just a flash-forward moment to remind people of what we already know before going back.
I used to watch this show my grandparents's place by the river. My dad was never there at my birth. My stepbrother would have been at his son's birth months after I left him with his girlfriend

Yeah

So there wont be any confusion over what he sung and to make it less likely that UA-cam pulls the video.
Fun fact: The guy who voiced Dad also voiced Johnny Bravo
I didn't know that
That explains how dad behaves with mom
So Dad is Johnny Bravo grown up and settled down properly this is now canon
