Cute boy's learning to speak and will study english language.Keep it up
Just love the kids. They have each other. The older is like a typical kuya (older brothe) very soft spoken and modest.
Nice…your kids are not picky in food..they will survive anywhere 👍
what they will NEVER eat is spicy food..
❤❤❤@@ValentinaLovingPhilippines
Hi Valentina, those small tiny fish are we call "DILIS" but they the fresh ones and same with sun dried "DILIS". The guy who ate it raw is not the right way but it can be eaten that way but it is better to remove the fish bones by starting at the belly going down the tail end and you should remove the head as well. When you finished deboning them is wash it in plain water squeezing them with your hands to get rid of the fishyness and by then in a bowl, soak it in good amount of vinegar, salt, freshly squeesed calamansi with chopped onions, ground black pepper, ginger and garlic and you may add chilli peppers if you want it spicy hot. Soak the fish in about an hour placing it in the fridge and it is ready for you to eat. That dish is what we call 'KINILAW NA DILIS!"
❤️❤️❤️
English is taught in all schools in the Philippines. It's taught starting from kindergarten up to college.
yes. so i hope our kids will go to public school in july
In public school , everything is free except uniform n school supply. We dont pay kust registered them in registrar office.
@@ValentinaLovingPhilippines my nephew is one of the school superintendent assigned at IGACOS ( Island Garden Of Samal). We can ask him of any requirements for your kids to enroll
Your kids should mingle with local kids to learn more about Filipino culture and local dialect.
they are shy to talk to Filipino kids..
Small fish calls anchovies. You can fried them mix with flour. It’s really good .
The kids can learn easily as what the Teacher said, "they need more practice"
yes
No cool no cook. I like the conversation here. Not perfect yet they understood and am happy. So natural. I love this way. Kini law is my favourite
Paxil is the medicine, paksiw is the dish cook in vinegar, onion, and ginger👍💕
Miss Valentina, I recall my really tough college professor, a Harvard graduate, who made us READ thirty pages A DAY for six months in an English book. He advised us that the fastest and most efficient approach to acquire the English language is to read a lot every day. He offered us a mock IELTS test at the end of our semester, and we all passed it with an average score of 92%. My children took the same strategy, and they both passed the TOEL and IELTS with ease. They are currently employed in the UK and the US.
I agree. This technique works with other languages too. :)
thank u!!
Wow! That's the right decision to getting English tutor for your kids. But you have to encourage your kids to actively participate in all learning activities 🎉God bless❤
Angel, the Filipina english tutor seems very nice and patient with kids. I'm sure she'll have the kids speaking English very soon, since kids can absorb much more at their age 😊.
Really good fish lots of fish oil.
Kinilaw is one of the favorite Filipino dishes. Fresh fish (sliced in cubes) is blended with spices (ginger and red onions). In Davao, we mixed vinegar from coconut wine or "tuba." We also blend slices of chillis, white raddish, and lemons. Or we can make it into a "siniglaw" by adding slices of grilled pork meat.
oh tuba!! i love it by the way
Kinilaw is like ceviche. The fish has to be really fresh. The vinegar or calamansi added will cook the fish somehow. But be very careful because if you are not used to eating this dish or it is not properly prepared, it may cause food poisoning.
New subscriber here.... I like your simplesity....enjoyed exploring in our beautiful country and be safe always ma'am ..
thank you my friend❤️
if you wanna cook fish. fry em. deep fry or dry fry em. also lemon or any citrus fruits on them adds for good flavoring.
Hello...adorable kids....enjoyed watching your vlog
❤️
Paksiw is anything cooked with vinegar alone as liquid. Whereas kinilaw is anything that is seasoned with vinegar without cooking. Just letting the acidity of vinegar to slow cooked the food but without heat in a certain amount of time. Paksiw and kinilaw goes with meat, fish and vegetables as well as far as Filipino dish is concern.
Good decision Valya for getting an English tutor for your two boys. That will speed up their ability to speak English. Supplement their learning with English lessons from the UA-cam. Encourage your boys to communicate with you in English! ❤
Oh nice dilis fish paksiw mam i can tech u how to cook adobo u will pilipino dish

The small fish you are refering well call it Dilis you can cook it with vinegar salt onion ginger fine black pepper with long green pepper "sili sigang" boil it 3 to 5 minutes.
Kinilaw na dilis raw with vinegar salt lemon or kalamansi juice, ginger onion fine black pepper, long green pepper sili sigang 1 or 2 red pepper "sili labuyo" fine choppe.
Tortang dilis with egg and flour salt and fine black pepper
Sili sigang not just gives spicyness but adds aromatic smell specially in Paksiw🙋✌️👏👍
thank you so much❤️
To learn english, children need full spectrum of senses. Write words and sentences, repeat words orally and pronunciation, speaking/ verbal interchange, reading and listening.
Kiddos will eventually learn English. Positive reinforcement, rewards, and constant practice will help like talking to them In English at home. It will help if teacher makes the teaching fun and associate the words with things that are interesting to them like characters, games, food, and etc. Using flash cards will help also. Teacher has a good vibe,👍 first impression💕
If you make KINILAW put ginger/onion/lemon/cucumber/vinegar and salt and little bit bitsin.
Let your kids play with the Filipino kids,, that way it's easier for your kids to learn English and bisaya.
they are shy to talk to Filipino kids..
Let also your kids to be and play with the local kids it would help a lots too , not only English but visaya too
they shy..
I'm sure your kids will enjoy talking to their new friends once they know talking in english
When you say "Kinilaw" it means raw. You only put it in vinegar and put calamansi. Your kids love the pork adobo! 👍😊 I'm confident that your children will learn English. 🤗💕
so chicken and pork can be "Kinilaw"
@@ValentinaLovingPhilippines Kinilaw is only for raw fish 🐠
you can cook that very small fish called (bolinao), you can fry it too. the name of the recipe is "tortang bolinao" or "fish omelette"

what is banana heart? it's from banana flower or from banana tree?
I clicked it to watch as soon as i saw the pork adobo😅, btw, i saw you in Filipinez video, it’s good that you’re allowing your kids to try all the local delicacies, foods, etc…
That's raw small fish called bolinaw anchovies in english or any small fish, seaweeds you can prepare it to kinilaw a raw eaten dish.mostly similar to spanish ceviche. But kinilaw is traditional filipino raw dish.It has more thousand years older than ceviche. The preparation process is to clean, remove scales, gills heads, bones & intestine.Bones for small fish are tricky to do the process that needs time and patience. After cleaning put the ingredients like Vinegar, salt, ginger, onion,
calamansi juice, green chilli pepper and tomatoe. If you want most spicy taste that bitten your lips use enough amount of small red chilli pepper (siling labuyo) Mix it together and serve.Big fish like tuna, tanigue can be also make a kinilaw.
thank you so much!)))))))
Let your kids wear slippers especially when going out of the house. They might step on.broken glass or any pointed things on the road
Ms Valentina I suggest that since ur Enlish is good, u speak English at home to practice & for continuity while they are taking the classes. You'd be surprised children can learn easily so that by the time the school is open they are already comfortable speaking & can be understood by other children. For some they try to speak English only for a day. All of you learning in the process is a bonus.
When they start to attend school they would also naturally learn Visayan words from their classmates. Tagalog is also one of the subjects in school that they will learn together with their classmates. It's good they got to learn & understand at least 3 new languages soon.
God bless you & ur family !
Thank you, I will
content suggestion: more interactions from the locals
try teaching your kids how to eat with spoon and fork when eating rice. it'll be easier for them
if u want eat raw fish.. I suggest kinilaw recipe.. or just add coconut vinegar on raw meat fish.
Your English tutor is very good. Suggest that you talk to the children in English at home because your English is good, Valentina.
The small fish is called "bulinaw". The man said it can be eaten raw or in Bisaya language "kinilaw" 😊
You have already gotten close to 3k subs in less than 2 weeks. good job and congrats.. you'll have a promising future on vlogging.
thank you so much!))
For your kids to fast better learn English, speak English in your home once in a while
Paksiw is the name of dish. Lanka yes is jack fruit. ❤😂
"Paksiw na dilis": "Dilis" is the name of that small fish; rich in calcium; best to eat when dilis is newly caught and fresh, you can eat it uncook by soaking (very important) it in vinegar (or lemon, calamansi) with salt and (depending on your taste -- you can add onion, garlic, pepper, etc). ( Important!!! Please do not eat any type of fish when it is not fresh!) "Paksiw" is how it is cooked, using vinegar, salt, and garlic, pepper, onion...
Looks like the Pork Adobo is not that tender; best to try chicken adobo.
thank you❤️
the guy said no need to cook the small fish but you have to put some vinegar black pepper salt onions ginger and monosodium seasoning
Pako(fern) is also good for salad and omelet

Pork or chicken adobo is very good. If you can cook, you can adjust the saltiness and sweetness as how you want it to be.
my plans are to start cooking Filipino food by myself
Valentina, you can grill banana in the stove at home. I even tried grilling it using lighted candle or in any open fire. Use fork if you don’t have any sticks to thread the banana. Grilled banana is the bomb,, yummy 👍💕
oh wow u used lighted candle!!
@@ValentinaLovingPhilippines use plain candle, not the perfume- scented kind, 😘
Paksiw is eaten in the Philippines we make paksiw with pork fish of any sizes. You can also make small fish omelette just remove the head together with its intestines so it will not be bitter
oh now i see thank u
nice❤❤❤
Did you know that during the 1970s, there were a lot of Iranians in the Philippines studying English. Now there are a lot of Koreans in the Philippines studying English.
interesting! i didn't know
Almost all Filipino meals are eaten with rice this will help offset the sweetness or salty taste of the meal.
🎉❤😊 Privet
Valentina and Sergei, when the boys learn English and go out into the world, to Europe, America, Australia and Asia…. you parents would be very proud of Miska snd Koska…and their mastery of English started in the Philippines.

Can you post your comment in English laguage?
Paksiw has its roots in the Philippines' early days as a nation when the Chinese and Spaniards arrived and introduced their own food ingredients to our ancestors. For these foreigners, cooking food in vinegar not only preserved them for long voyages on the ocean, but also made them extra tasty
it's very interesting! thank u!
Be careful in buying food outside. Must reheat when going back home. Food are exposed so needs to do reheating before eating.
oh thank u so much for your care!!! i'll do!
That is a good way to your child
