Police Investigating Stabbing Attack in Spring Valley (Feb 23, 2023- Rockland Video)

PRESS RELEASE - On February 23, 2023, at approximately 10:40 PM the Spring Valley Police Department responded to the area of 55 N Myrtle Avenue for a report of a male with a machete. Upon arrival officers located two males bleeding, one with multiple lacerations to his body. Both
males were transported to the hospital, one with severe injuries because of the altercation.
Defendant who was taken into custody was charged with ATTEMPTED MURDER. Defendant is a 57-year-old male who resides in Spring Valley. Defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Judge David Fried of the Spring Valley Justice Court and bail was set in the amount of $60,000.00 USC and $150,000.00 Bond.
