My friend J.C. passed away 12-1-22....point is we road tripped to Austin to check out the Queers and Ritchie Ramone band....(2015)...had an 🎱....more or less .....got invited backstage, made the party a bit more interesting.....and off into the night for more crazy shit....RIP Jay.
Love the song, it really captures an essence of Punk which seems to have been all but lost within the music of the genre's contemporary artists. The entire album evokes that feeling of classic, American, unabashed Punk. Keep up the great work!

He rejuvenated + improved Ramones drums, after him, Marky had to follow his style. . This "retro" album is fantastic, the live tour was beyond great, one of the best shows I've ever been in my life, and been in quite a few. Incredible energy, incredible musicians skills. Richie drummed and sang, and later "tolerated" crazy Argentina fans when giving autographs haha Best wishes.

i love that he's got claire and alex antiproduct in the band (aka the original marky ramone's blitzkrieg). marky dumped 'em, richie swooped them up. no love lost between the 2 drummers. richie (who's a better drummer, though i love marky) says that he's never spoken to mark and dosn't want to comment on him. mark says neither richie nor cj were "real ramones"... which raises the question as to why he thinks he himself qualifies for that label. i think cj and richie should team up and be in the same band.
In other words....all four originals are gone but the stupid drama bs goes on? Just my opinion, but I count all 3 guys as significant contributors to this great band's legacy. Such a shame one or another is always runnin down another guy. I think they all deserve a great deal of credit.

Cj & Richie did play a show together, I read that cj wanted to play on stage with Richie as soon as he joined the band. Cj said he has no bad feelings for Richie & he just looks at his as a friend
