  • To anyone who's unsure about what direction to take in life, take the time to find your passion.
I restarted in my 20's. Some people restart in their 30's. It doesn't matter where you are if you need to hit reset.
Some people feel lost. But that only means it takes some time to find the path you want to take.

yep on point. Work is just work and most of us aren't lucky enough to be able to try different things and find a work we enjoy. Even then circumstance changes and what we enjoy might change. In the end, family/friends/personal_hobbies are way way more important than any feelings from work.

Been trying to find my passion for 10 years after high school and i couldn't find it. Finding a career has aways been my number one priority as i came from poverty. Not having a career has affected my self esteem and my social skills with people. Im only pursing coding becasue of the low barrier to entry and to hoplefully regain back the confidence i've been trying to achive my whole life. Sometimes I wonder what else could i be pursing that would make me more happier.

What does “restart” mean? Leaving a job? Leaving the field? Why start making content about a career you’re unhappy with? How long can you make videos about a career you’re not actively participating in? Why not start making content, then transition after the channel has more traction? Advice is great, but more broadly what is the existence of this channel saying about a sustainable, satisfying, and rewarding career in tech? Why help sell the dream you’re abandoning? Please do whatever makes you happy, but this video (and more broadly this channel) raises a bunch more questions than answers.
