Bae, don't worry about new music. It's just too iffy nowadays. I listen to yo' first and second albums and I'm completely satisfied. I never say to myself _Dang, I wish Max would release new music._ Not tryna be nasty, but...well... It's just a different time. R&B is very scared to me. I still have a lot of my cassette/cassette singles only because they hold sentimental value. I have the ones my grandfather bought me. I have a few cd's, but mostly promos. I was obsessed w/ collecting promo cd's. I made sure to make friends w/ the associates at the record stores and they'd give me promo cd's, cutouts, etcetera. When yo' first album came out, Max, that was my own money (allowance). I couldn't think straight that whole day. My dad picked me up from school and he said _How was ya' day?_ I said _Yeah, yeah, yeah, c'mon, we gotta get to this store so step on it!_ We started rollin'. I'll never forget that. Hell, I could've gotten a beat down. It didn't matter. I just had to have that album. Now, streaming... Streaming works for younger urbans artists and white artists. Ain't nobody gon stream the new Jodeci album. I'm sorry, but they're not. There's an ageism issue that's the unspoken word. lol at J Cole and Kendrick Lamar. I feel like folks are programmed to say those two nowadays. The only thing old school about me is my taste in music. I go for what I know. I'm satisfied. Max, you were being hella diplomatic. You know doggon well you don't be listenin' to these younger acts.
Favorite neo soul artist, his music, look, vibe just took me to another place, a place of pure sunshine and a freeing bliss. Gosh I remember those days. T
