I've notice many builders are not carrying wood flooring, but wood looking tile planks. So the workaround for that would be to get the most basic flooring and rip it out to have hardwood installed after market and see if the builder offers a credit. "Modern" for builders nowadays just means black and white with these marble look floors.

There is such a things as too much white...They have one of these homes for sale and move in ready with grey cabinets instead of white.
