Her harsh vocals on that song were amazing too, she crushed it with both the clean and harsh vocals, I honestly wish they’d use her vocally a little bit more, I’d love to see an Alice In Chains dynamic where she gets to do leads every here and there or they split leads half and half. Either way she kicks ass and her and John have great chemistry.
John somehow keeps making this band better. Pete is awesome, and so are all the other former members. But the band just keeps getting better with the new members. Gina is unreal.
I agree. It is always sad to see a beloved band down to one original member, but he's absolutely keeping the spirit alive. Just goes to show great of an artist John is (not to discredit anyone else). Pete will be missed, he was an absolute incredible on stage musician.
I'd seen then 3 or 4 times with pete, and his energy on stage was a huge driving force for each set. Whenever any of my favourite bands have lineup changes it's always a bit of a heart in mouth moment - thankfully I have loved every new video coming out recently with Gina. It sounds kickarse. Her vocals are spot on and strong, and she's clearly an awesome guitarist. I like that she's not reinventing the old guitar parts, just playing them and having a good time.
This band is like Megadeth with regard to the lineup changes, except John isn't an asshole and he finds musicians because he wants to write with them and not for them.
Thank you so much for sharing 🤘🏻🤘🤘🏽🤘🏿👽✨ This made my day (and probably many other's...) Baroness are one of my favourite bands. The first time I heard of them I fell in love with what they do, and it grows with every note!!
thanks feet first productions def the only nice full set of 2017 gina era baroness i can find on here to rock out to. Don't get me wrong i love pete adams solos and that whole baroness era but im really looking forward to what they are doing currently hoping to hear a new album from them soon. been a few since purple.
I´ve been a fan only for few months so far. I don´t even remenber where did I hear Baroness first, but it really got to me, like it struck a nerve or something. I´m still getting to know the songs, lyrics and stuff... something in this gig caught my attention: the interaction! Oh, btw, this was a GREAT presentation. Is this kind of interaction from the public somewhat "regular" from their fans or was this night different for any reason? Wish I lived closer so I could check them out! Till then, let's board up the house, mofooooos!!!
There's always a lot of interaction at Baroness shows, but this show's a bit special. John lives in Philly, and had sort of adopted it as his hometown. (He's originally from Georgia I think). Also, Union Transfer is a really great venue for rock shows. It feels small and intimate without being cramped. As a big fat guy, I really appreciate it.
Haven't not personally seen them live I can only say so much. But the way I see it, this is what happens when you have an amazing musical product that you build slowly. Baroness is in my top five bands ever. Streetlight Manifesto is there as well, seen them the last five years straight and the lead/backup vocalist are almost drowned out by the crowd. These are passionate fans being served exactly what they want and enjoying every second of it.
Okay, I have seen Baroness in Chicago and Madison WI, more times than I can count right now. The interaction level varies, but I have NEVER seen them live without some level of it. They have a loyal following and it shows, they have improved every single fucking time I've seen them!
This video should really be kept and cherished as a record of your concert experience, but posting your ultra Lo-Fi sludge recording is kind of a bait-and-switch. This is a waste of time for those of us who weren't there.
How is this a waste of time for everyone who wasn’t there lol? There is a comment section praising the performances and happy they got to watch a video of it.

i guess I am kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to watch newly released movies online ?
I love Pete with all my heart and wish him the best on his new life...But Gina, you are trully welcome in our hearts and ears!!!!
With that haircut, she kinda looks like a shorter version of Pete even! (with more ripped arms)
or jason newsted
@@penoyer79 the haircut definitely reminded me on Jason before anyone else.
Gina's backup vocals on Sweetest Curse were spot on. Gave me chills. She'll do just fine.
she's a monster. that song blew the fucking roof off.
Her harsh vocals on that song were amazing too, she crushed it with both the clean and harsh vocals, I honestly wish they’d use her vocally a little bit more, I’d love to see an Alice In Chains dynamic where she gets to do leads every here and there or they split leads half and half. I love the fact that you can tell Gina genuinely enjoys being a part of the band.
Also: goddamn, Gina is a beast, vocally and guitarically.
stage presenceally, too
she got that from cirque du soleil gig!
baroness music hits me in the soul like very few bands can. so amazing.
Still one of the best live videos of their concerts on UA-cam. It sounds great all things considered.
John somehow keeps making this band better. Pete is awesome, and so are all the other former members. But the band just keeps getting better with the new members. Gina is unreal.
Look up her "job history." She's well-qualified to play with them.

What a great show! I need to see them live ASAP! You could really feel the energy on songs like Isak, the whole stafium singing along!

they sound fucking awesome, shame the guitars were so out of tune with each other :(
miss the reality ...
Pete!? wah
FUCKING SOUNNNNNNND
Right, this is one of the best recordings of a live show, and also looked like it was a ridiculously awesome live show on its own.
Bla bla bla
90's pop punk way better high
Descendants fire hose ,
Hell even Firehouse
