God Bless and protect you and Hamish and your family. I think Hamish will forgive you in time. He is such a sweet boy. I do not think he will hold a grudge.once treatment is over and he can relax and not be poked all the time he will come around. Love from California
I was wonderin' how the big fella was doin', so thanks for the update. That's a real shame that ya sense he's lost some trust. That's gonna return once a more comfortable treatment is figured out. I'm sure you've already thought of it or tried it maybe but I just thought I'd mention molasses. I've seen powdered medications mixed into molasses for some finicky patients and I've seen powders dissolved in water work too. I'll pipe down now as I'm sure you've got no shortage of suggestions comin' at ya. I sincerely hope it all gets sorted out soon and things are back to normal for ya. All the best to ya.
What I do with dogs is put the powder into solution in small amount of broth, use a syringe and shove it duwn their throat. Don't know if you can do that with cattle.
I put down my elderly kitty a couple of weeks ago. Happened to get a psychic reading the following week and was told she was ready to go last year but was hanging on for me until I was ready. He's so calm, but he's ready for you to make your decisions. And he wants you to adopt another calf in need.... It is such a hard decision and you need to take your time. Bless you both.
Really feel for you, it’s so hard when you have an animal you love.
U can feel the pain in his voice💔
Thanks for the update.
Praying for Hamish to get better. His trust will come back, I think animals understand more than we give them credit for. :)

Perhaps if you weren’t there during the treatment and came in afterwards as a rescuer it may help, worth a try ❤
I can feel your heart breaking through your words. I hear you.
My heart & prayers go out to you & Hamish. You’re amazing for taking such awesome care of them. It must be exhausting but keep up the good work.
He’s beautiful
God Bless You🙏
Prayers for Hamish

Can't explain to animals and babies. So hard when you know you are causing pain.
You know it like a child, you have to do whats best for them hoping they will forgive you and still love you later in life!! It will work out!!
