Thank you, Peter! You have a good evening as well. Life has been busy for me, but hopefully I will be able to get caught up on everything I have missed in the last couple of months. I hope you are well~
Thank you for listening, my piano friend! Sorry it's been awhile since I have had time to be on UA-cam; I'm sure I have some wonderful catching-up to do on your channel. Have an enjoyable weekend and God bless you~
Enjoyed the playing. I was puzzled by 1) the minor key considering the lyrics, although for the part about going up the road to glory that would make sense to me, and 2) the video. I took in the lizard, then the drop in the water, and thought, ah, ok. I put the two images together and started down this journey where I imagined the lizard racing along a rocky outcropping, tail swinging as it winged across it, and rain beginning to patter over a pond in the foreground. The next image presented was a foggy, dense, evergreen forest, which threw me. I thought the lizard would certainly want to be somewhere more tropical, so I put him in a jungle on fire (the fog in the photo presented gave me the idea of smoke). Beyond that, I couldn't maintain my story with the images the video presented and decided the video wasn't telling a story visually, but that the images were connected in some other way. But as I say, I'm glad I saw and heard this :) I do wonder what happened to that lizard. But I imagine it as one of God's children that loves Jesus, too, in its own way.
Thanks for your insightful comments, Matthias! I didn't consider creating a story out of the pictures for this video; I have done that in the past, but I just chose nature pictures that appealed to me. I love your comment that the lizard loves Jesus too..... Thanks for listening, and I'll try to be more intentional with my videos in future. Happy New Year!
@@pamspiano8 Well, you can come up with a story, but that makes a lot more work for you. You almost need a second person to come up with all that so you could concentrate on just piano. Somebody that's handy with images - knows where to get them, what's available, etc.
Wow absolutely amazing videos thank you for sharing

As far as the minor key--I can't play by ear at all, so I am tied to the choices the song arranger made.

@@pamspiano8 It's just an interesting choice to me. I'd like to know what their thinking was.
@@genesisPiano That would be wonderful!! But it's just my husband and I, and he's busy doing other things.....
