I love that JB can be sustainable, innovative and thoughtful without having a huge ego. I know he is from Iowa and I think he's got a lot of the best values from that state combined with a lot of the innovation we see in California.

Straubl if you happen to see this, please allow us small investors to get involved as early as possible in redwood materials. I tried locating a bit of shares on the private market sites but nobody ever responds to my requests to buy shares. 😢

Same here. I have Lithium mining and chemicals investments galore, but Redwood materials would be a great long term investment!

Once a company goes public, unfortunately its motives shift and default to becoming profit based instead of MORAL based. I hope they NEVER go public.

Love the mission of the company…It’s like watching Standard Oil Company, Inc. in It’s early innings, exept for providing “energy loop” in other words, cricular energy economy for many generations to come. It will empower the GDP growth while being sustainable at the same time, preventing the enviromental disaster.
I share the same vision and would like to provide support to Redwood. Personally, It would be inspiring to have the opportunity to talk to Redwood staff and get further insight.

Is it better to pick a part of the batteries before grinding them up and then recycling or is better to just grind the whole battery and the electronic device and take that soup and refine it into battery materials after?

Does Redwood Materials need our old tech devices to recycle? If I knew they were genuinely recycling the materials and not just refurbishing and reselling…Maybe if they allow the person who paid $600 or $800 or $1500 for the device to benefit a bit it might help? Lots of old tech for sale online cheap to the unaware.
Maybe credits toward an EV or Tesla? Or #Dogecoin?

Battery life is 15 years ?Please see cellphone case . It is not so long. Then recycling can be more important.

Moonshine (ethanol) in combustion engines has 44%less carbon emissions than gasoline. EV Batteries will help carbon emissions temporarily but they really are not sustainable once their life is spent. The resources for ethanol would have to be lab-grown to fight the argument about land processing contributing to carbon emissions but I still think combustion engine is the way to go.
