Oh nice one mate!! I've 2 different sp of acorn ants in one tank atm love them. I might have to pick up 2 more colonies from AD to put in my other tank.
I thought the same thing, I recon they could be. Probly eat them or Even as a "non lethal formic acid device" ants covered in mites, chuck in these miteproof girls and let them "attack" the big ant. Might drive the mites away with there acid while leaving the big ant unharmed. The temnos let go once they run off

I also have always wondered if this sp would be good at mite control as they are small enough to surely be natural predators?

Yeah thise temnos are hilariously aggressive. So passive but when they get pissed the pile in 😆
