Oh Shirley, I'm in hysterics, you've done it again! Fabulous! Reliving all those great songs with your clever and creative "food" lyrics. "Purple stain" had me in stitches lol!! And "Avocado" is too true, last I saw, one avocado here cost $2.50, that's insane, I ain't paying $2.50 for one dinky avocado! Oh and I solved the "warm tea" problem with my wonderful thermal cup, keeps my tea quite hot for a pretty long time. No more tepid tea!! Thanks again Shirley for great singing, songs and lyrics!!

I've also seen some pretty ceramic cups in Chinese and Japanese shops here that come with a pretty cover that helps keep your tea warm, and they look nice too.

And I was forced to eat kilos of beet salad and fryed bovine liver when I was a child , due to a bad case of anemia ... Even sang the Itsy Bitsy... myself in preschool time bec ause it was that popular at the time. 😅 Only for the last one I can't remember of any lyrics - just vaguely remember the melody somehow like being from a musical or movie, maybe it wasn't that popular here in Germany.

I spun a pun on that for my mom years ago-we were at the grocery store in spring, and I noticed my parents stocking up on the purple Peeps chicks. I asked Mom why, and she said they were her favorite color. Hey Shirley. Mary from the US. Just wanted to thank you for sharing all your creative, entertaining and thoughtful videos. My hubby and I, are big fans of yours. We are always excited when we see you've posted a new video. Your videos with animals are fantastic. I am retired and wanted to share, I volunteer at a wonderful local animal shelter, the Placer SPCA in Roseville, CA. Its a terrific no kill shelter, the only time they euthanize, is if an animal is seriously ill and there is no hope for recovery or if an animal is adopted and bites the adopter. They have had volunteers and even adopters take home "hospice" care. I work with the cats with behavior problems either fearfulness or overstimulation. Its amazing how music can help them. Sometimes, I bring my harmonica or ukulele in to play and sing to them. I am not a singer but they don't seem to notice. I've made a few videos and posted on my UA-cam channel. One video is of my 4 cats. Please check them out. I'd love to get your reaction. Maybe some of your viewers may enjoy. Have a wonderful day and a happy and healthy New Year.

Oh yes, the rice! I only have problems with brown rice. I follow instructions and add 15 minutes, and it's still undercooked! As far as tea goes, I totally agree it must be steaming but if left too long I either put it into the microwave or pour it over ice. Of course, that depends on the flavor and how long it's been since I let it go cold. 😮😊👍

Oh yes, the rice! I only have problems with brown rice. I follow instructions and add 15 minutes, and it's still undercooked! As far as tea goes, I totally agree it must be steaming but if left too long I either put it into the microwave or pour it over ice. Of course, that depends on the flavor and how long it's been since I let it go cold. 😮😊👍
Tea can't be messed with - gotta be the right temperature! 😆
