This comparison is enlightening, the Diamond sounds fatter and livelier, the Boss is flat and almost a little filtered. I prefer the Diamond sound, perhaps this Boss is a great pedal but not the best in the world.
I put on good quality headphones through a headphone amp and only then could I hear what I think is a slight difference. I think the Boss is just a little clearer, warmer, brighter and more pleasing. The Boss maybe feels like it breathes a little more and has more of a sparkle. But it's close and I almost wonder if I'm fooling myself.
These two analog delays sounded almost the same, the DM-101 a bit clearer (on my iPhone). But this was just the “Modern” mode on the Boss… there’s eleven more… and better sounding ones. The Diamond seems to have just one mode (out of 12). But great that you compared those two pedals! Thanks!
This is excellent. Thanks!

I agree 100%

Ich habe beides und ich liebe Diamond für sein fetten und magischen Sound! Auf meinem Pedalboard bleibt Diamond.
Boss doesn't have that fat splat that the diamond has - diamond sounds a lot like the malekko e600 b
Exactly!
Diamond is expired
The sound of the Diamond is more "fat" to my ears.
