- Ermes Gasparini and Denis Cyplenkov spoke with Coach Ray and the CEO of Coresports, Don Idrees, about the Devon vs Levan supermatch.
Ermes believes that Levan will be victorious because he is too strong and very motivated. The power difference between them is still big, and although Devon is stronger than last time, it won't be enough to beat Levan in April. In any case, Ermes hopes a close and intense match but he would bet on Levan's victory.
Denis doesn't know if Levan will be in as good shape as he used to be before, but Devon is healthy and he has been in a crazy winning streak. Denis believes Devon will do everything and anything to win this match, because most likely it’s his last chance. Lastly, Denis thinks that Devon has a chance to beat Levan.

Ofcourse there is a chance, but the chance is dependent on different things happening in Devons favor, Levan has a slite cold, he slept badly, something on a personal level happened that gets him off target, and there can be other issues that could get the match to go Devons way, and for Devon to win most of these things have to happen, also Devon must be at 110%.
You see there is a group from number 2 to number 5 in the world and these are intercahangable, given that there is always a little injury and such going on, Levan is on a different Level still. Devon has done good in the the group from number 2 to ten in the world.
Levan has not lost a round to anyone by pin or foul in seven years, Ermes was not close to beating Levan last time they met, it was Levan that was not properly prepard, he was in bad shape, and Ermes could push him. When it comes to Devon yes he is strong, but appart from his hand and wrist Ermes and others in the top ten can out do him in backpressure bisceps and side pressure But here is the thing though with Devon, and you can ask Evgeny Prudnik about this, When you have never fought Devon in a match before, everyone has problems with his style and technique of armwrestling, the list is long, he stops them and bleed them out, there are variations of how and where he stops them, but thats what happens and this technique has served and still serves him well on the world stage, the only one so far that never previosly pulled Devon and rolled through Devon like it was a practice pull, was Levan, if Devon cannot stop him, in the middle of the table it will not work out for Devon, you say well Ermes stoped Levan, thats true still Levan pinned him 4 times straight, and Ermes backpressure and arms are alot stronger than Devons.

How I wished that Devon was doing everything possible to beat Levan this time like Denis said, But he’s not! He’s not doing the key foundational strength compound movement’s, which would allow him to actually gain maximum quality muscle weight & power, otherwise the size and strength gap will be way too much, AGAIN!

There’s really no point in training the foundational strength movements. Levan has maxed out those metrics, to the point where nobody is gunna be able to catch up to him. His opponents are better off training for their strengths, in hopes that it will be enough to get a few pins, rather than train to try to enhance their weaknesses.
I think Devon knows how to train better than you and the rest of the internet experts trying to weigh in on this. Win or lose vs Levan, Devon has beaten the strongest armwrestlers on the planet previously. Ermes and Denis were both supposed to be much stronger, but Devon beat them following his particular methods. I would listen to the reigning superheavyweight and heavyweight world champion (in his late 40s by the way) when it comes to training for armwrestling instead of the gym bros on the internet.
@@salvificblood Sorry to break it to you bro, but I’m 57, and been resistance training and non professional arm wrestling for over 40yrs, and I’m 6’2, 255lbs and I’m all natural, and have about a 98% win record, But besides all of that, the relevant compound movements when implemented correctly, will increase & maximize all strength athletes size and strength, including you & Devon, Ps Just because Devon is awesome at arm wrestling doesn’t mean that his overall training style couldn’t be tweaked & improved.
