Now after his retirement I feel like sharing the same coz I want others to know why Dhoni was more than just a player to me and he always will be "I'm not really a '90s kid. I started regularly watching cricket around 2003-04. Maybe that's why I've never understood the reason behind Sachin's god like stature. No offense but Sachin or Dada or anyone from the fab 5 was never my icon... Like they were for my previous generation. But the only player I watched since his debut was none other than Dhoni. Those pre internet nokia phone days when we used to say ki pata hai Dhoni din me 15 litre doodh peeta hai.... cricket rank card me agar Dhoni mila matlab uski average call karke Kallis, Ponting yahan tak ki Sachin ko bhi jeeta ja sakta hai😀. I guess almost all guys of my age had tried that helicopter shot at least once. I remember once I didn't cut my hair for almost 4 months kyunki mujhe dhoni ki tarah lambe baal chahiye the😁 Yeah I know this dhoni is not even a 10% of what he was till 2013. But still I want him to score... to score in a typical msd style like he used to. Coz every time dhoni plays like a vintage dhoni, I relive my childhood.... I relive those golden days❤. Ab toh saala college aur job paane ki chakkar me roz g phatt rahi hai. So that's why I still sit in front of the tv iss unmeed me ki ek aur baar yeh banda anhoni ko honi karega aur apna bachpan ka time phirse aayega🙃" That was my whole comment.
