New Valve Cover from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/NSEV...
Under the valve cover, you have camshafts and the valvetrain spinning and flinging oil everywhere. A valve cover has to have a gasket to stop some of that oil from leaking out the seam. When you do see oil around your valve cover, you know it’s time to replace the gasket. This video shows you how to install a new valve cover gasket in your 2005-2015 Nissan Xterra.

Honestly keep dominating with you all’s videos you all are dominating for repair videos as far the variety of makes and models you work. So well shot so well explained
This has to be the first do-it-yourself video that I could sit through and watch without getting irritated. Thanks so much, and my God you're even using power tools.
I'd cover that Plenum opening with blue masking tape while working around it and removing the Valve Covers. This way I don't have much to worry debris or a nut/bolt going down in there.
Good step by step video, very helpful..
Thanks for sharing. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
+ELEVO Thanks for the tip! We'll pass this info along to our production team. 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
21 lb/ft for the bolts on this plastic upper intake manifold?? Has to be a mistake.
Just did this job and video helped allot
Does the red wire near the firewall happen to be for added heated mirrors?
No mention of torque specs, the correct order for doing the bolts on the valve cover...kind of important information, no?
He did tell the torque specs on the covers and the collector.
What is the name of the solenoid that needs the gasket at 14:36?
My Haynes says 96 inch lbs on the plenum bolts.
Nice vídeo. Thanks
Thanks
Would this be the same on a 2011 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X (6cilinder)?
If it's a VQ40DE engine it's all the same from 2005-2015.
