I took the 'trip of a lifetime" in 2019 with my husband. We sratrted in Delhi and went east, so we didn't get to go to Pune or Mumbai, but we planned on returning the following year. Then the pandemic ruined our plans. .We enjoyed India so much, on so many different levels. Keep your mind and heart open the people are lovely. And don't expect anything to be ordinary because it surely won't be! Don't forget the mosquito repellent and a Z-pack. Have the best time!
All the best in India injoy your time away from the cold winter. Just a good tip use bottle water for your clensers even in there hotels 🏨 not the best water quality there .

Have a great trip!! If it helps, I ordered small amber glass vials so I could bring all of my exfoliants, serums and things I don't need a ton of so I have room for SPF, moisturizers and other things I use in greater quantities etc

You will either love or hate India. I love it. I'm Australian & have often stopped over on my
way to UK. Take a little medical kit for sore feet & eyes, tummy & head aches.

Traveling to another country really IS a lot of work. I went to Ireland a few years ago and OMG the homework needed is nuts, but I get it. I wish someone had told me about getting cell service over there. I had NONE the whole week - I had to rely on my son and we could not communicate if we got separated. I will probably never travel abroad again, I did not enjoy the process and the long flight, plus it rained EVERY day that we were there. Just left a bad taste in my mouth since I don’t love traveling in the first place. I hope you love your trip.

Love your videos Tamara. One thought on the size of the items you are bringing. You will need to check these items in a bag and I am wondering if smaller sizes wouldn't be better so you can take them in your carry-on bag in case the checked suitcase does not make it on time.

What a wonderful beginning of the year! I hope you do some video footage so we get to see a bit of India! I was curious to see if you were going to take any beauty devices. I was wondering to myself, if I went overseas for 3 weeks, what beauty device or devices would I bring? or wouldn't I? Hmm.... As a woman the same age and traveled extensively....this a great exciting trip for you..have fun
But I have found I pack more than I need every time. For India...face wash...moisturizer..sunscreen..that she be it
Hi Tamara I hope you have a wonderful time in India with your daughter. I always keep small bottles to decant into, but most of my trips away are on the motorbike so packing light is essential lol. Three weeks is much longer than my own trips are, so my containers are fairly small. I label everything I decant, but since you only have the two and they're different colours that's not an issue. The sun in India is apparently very strong, so you may find mineral spf to be not quite enough for best protection. There may be some of the European spf's available in the duty free, so keep an eye out just in case. My absolute favourite for bullet proof protection is ultrasun - it's long wear (although I advise reapplying more frequently when the sun is so strong) and even my highly reactive rosacea and eczema prone skin tolerates it day in day out. I think you may be surprised how much spf you will need for three weeks for adequate reapplication, so one bottle of each may not be enough unfortunately. In any case have a fabulous time and don't worry about a couple of missed videos. Best wishes.

Thank you Mary Ellen...arrived a couple of days ago...took a few days to get over jet lag after traveling for more than 24 hours...but all good now. My mom and I never got around to taking trips together so I jump at the chance to travel with my daughter.

What an amazing trip! My husband is from the Caribbean, which was under the crown, like India was so there are many people of Indian descent on his island..Enjoy your time. It may be a cultural shock but overall a great place (I heard) to visit. I'm sure you'll be getting proposals! Lol.

Did you get any skincare in India? They probably have great chemicals sunscreens that are not allow in US, I get mines every time that I can in Mexico
I did get a few products from a line called Biotique Aruveydic Skin care...and yes, they made a lovely SPF which my daughter loved so much I gave it to her.

I've been to India 2 times. Leaving in 10 days for 2nd to Prague Czech,and Budapest, Hungary. As I will have cold weather,you will have warm weather. Always enjoy your video's. We use our cosmetics according to the weather .Be safe and enjoy colorful India.

I don't use filters. I film in natural light supplemented by studio lights as needed...I also use my iphone 13 to video so perhaps not quite as clear as a 4K camera?

Do either of your VC serums turn your skin orange? I have had this happen to me and need to know how to prevent.
No they don't turn my skin any color at all. When the serum gets too old and oxidizes it does turn an orange color...but I usually use it up before that happens.

I hope you have a safe trip. India is not a country I would ever think about going to. The men seem to sexually harrass women who aren't of their culture. It seems a bit dangerous to me...I do hope it's not the case with you and your daughter. I've watched .other Utubers (women) travel there and feel unsafe...but they were traveling by themselves. Which is kind of cray cray!
I was VERY nervous...luckily my daughter is a much more experienced traveler than I am....So far so good! We are staying in 3 different very safe lodgings and have a driver dedicated to taking us around.

If you want antioxidants but can't use l ascorbic a vitamin c derivative is not the second best option. You've much better of with something like Resveratrol, lycopene, melatonin or Ferulic Acid instead. NIOD Survival 0 would be a great option for example. In fact I sm willing to bet that the niod SOD mist isa stronger Antioxidant than your Vitamin c derivative option. Im not sure a high strength Exfoliant like the DE sukari is a good idea either. You've pale travelling to a climate you're not very well addapted to/never been in. I"d lay off anything that thins my skin out, albeit temporarily.

Have fun! It is tricky isn’t it? All the stuff we use, but what to take? I am going on a less exotic trip in a couple months so this is very interesting and I look forward to your paired down makeup video next week. Here’s a tip for shorter trips, I put my moisturizers in contact lens cases. One side has a white cap and the other side has a color cap. I switch the caps so I can do all white caps on cases with my morning moisturizer and the colorful cases contain the night potion. But I agree, the DRMTLGY peptide night cream (a personal favorite) is a great choice morning or night!
