It has been a while since my last video! Sorry about the unannounced break, but as you will see in this video, preparing for my first art market event was a little bit more stressful than I anticipated and I needed a little extra time to put together the video.
This video is quite packed with all of the prep work that went behind my first tabling event ever! It was quite the learning experience for me :') For now I am working on my second market event and planning a winter shop update ❤

You did great for your market! Prep can be really stressful but I promise it gets easier the more events you do. :D I think your charms would do really well at anime cons and expos! I've been selling art for a year and a half now and I've never done exceptionally at outdoor markets. Your products are definitely not the issue, but I'm glad you put yourself out there. :D Keep going!!
thank you so much! i have considered signing up for some anime conventions and expos but have been a little apprehensive about it since i know a lot of con attendees are largely looking for fan art... but maybe i will try signing up for one and seeing how it goes 😅
i get what u mean about the whole self-doubt and feeling overwhelmed, its also one of the reasons why i also havent joined an art market/artist alley yet cuz im too scared to do it alone. I'll only join one when i have a friend or someone who's willing to be my assistant because lord knows i suck at dealing with customers...
finding a friend to help you is definitely very helpful! and for the most part, customers are super nice and sweet do it isn't as scary as it may seem 🩷

Not sure how you showed up in my YT suggestion but I love your aesthetic especially being so young and you have your own business.....that's cool. If I was your dad I would be very proud. Although your product is not for me, my grandkids would love it. Just a suggestion, not sure where you live but maybe try an asian theme phone charm cause they would sell like hotcakes here on maui.
