There’s also credits in the description of some osts which actually rotates the people working on it. For example, some of the newer character demo osts are actually composed without Chen Yupeng. Personally I suspect there’s like a jazz person whose influence can be seen in Layla’s and Yelan’s theme, and another person (or maybe an entire group) focused on trap beats like in Ayato/Raiden/Wanderer themes. Ayato’s for example is completely composed and arranged by Yuan Dimeng, while Raiden has Yupeng’s contribution (not that surprising). Cyno and Yelan both have Zhao Xin as composer although Dimeng also co-composed and is the arranger for Yelan’s theme. Finally, the composer and arranger for Layla’s theme is You Peijia. All of these people are parts of HOYO-MiX.

What I understand from this is that Yu-Peng Chen composed Ouvertüre der ewigen Nacht and Sieh an, mein Sommernachtgarten! (Fischl's character demo and her story trailer), and Yijun Jiang took inspiration from these to compose Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie.

When I first heard one of the melodies (it was Tremor of menace, I believe), I did something I had never done before in this game - I turned off all the effects and dialogues, leaving only the music so that nothing would distract me from the beautiful compositions and often deliberately delayed the fight to hear the music more often Enkanomiya's music is also beautiful. She gives me the creeps, she's so good. It is also interesting that the music there is more similar to European, although the region is literally under the Inazuma, which has a Japanese setting. It was an interesting dissonance in what I expected and what I got Duel in the Mist I think it's better to watch in the official "live" performance. Definitely my fav limited time music in the game Honestly that whole second summer event was one of the best event overall in the game, the story, the characters, the world region, the minigame, the side story and mission. Everything was really good and yet it only lasted for one patch before it is gone forever what the fuck, and the first summer event was also really good tho not as much as the second one, that is also gone too. I swear I feel so bad for all the new genshin player who miss all the limited time event, so stupid that is even a concept, I can understand limited time reward for free weapon/character and resource but a whole ass region and storyline to be limited is stupid
Ship picture was misleading it's just an illustration for this whole OST album. Main protagonist around which this song is revolving is a girl pretending/dreaming about being a princess and it all happens in a medieval style castle that's product of her dreams. The instruments like the harpsichord, organ, bells, strings, and even guitars fit all of that exceptionally well.
My favorite track from the whole game,this event leave a deep and huge mark on my heart that even almost a whole year it still give me chills like the first time I listen it while fighting a random small fry enemy XD (english not my main language sorry if I did a mistake somewhere~)
This is my favorite Genshin impact track, I literally bought the soundtrack that contained this song because I saw it was on it. Since then I've actually bought all the genshin soundtracks that have been released, Hoyoverse taking my money even when im not pulling in Genshin impact LOL. 😂

This music still remains the best music in genshin for me thus far, or maybe I'm just in love with baroque in general. 😂 The music itself is simple, they just repeat the note again and again but with buildup with other instruments joining one by one, making the whole music feels like evolving every second until it reaches the peak, and the guitar kicks in. This is just crazy and befitting fischl's mirage as well. Her mirage is basically something out of a persona game, about self-acceptance 😂

It's only sad that this melody is unlikely to return to the game as it was the battle theme of minor level in a limited time event... It reminded me of the soundtrack from American McGee's Alice and maybe flamenco. All blended with classic and a bit of Gothic rock (like the intro to Angel, the Buffy spinoff).

they literally added the sky from a van Gogh painting to Mona's dungeon (Mona's mirage it calls) and it looked amazing
