I just started a mermaid fob,and on the end of 13th row. At this end (odd) there is a missing bead. It goes from ten beads to nine beads. Not sure why this happens. Any thoughts that you could answer foe me. The threads are on opposite sides

I think I may understand your question, and a picture might help us both. Feel free to email me at: [e-mail] with a picture and I will try to help. But let me say this: Each row alternates the number of beads when you are making a straight edge, so it would be expected to have different numbers on different rows.
