Jeff I agree with flashing lights, it's in no way fair and I hope the dev is not too discouraged. It's amazing what he has made especially doing it solo.
Good ole Donner's Pass in California. I've seen many inexperienced drivers burn their brakes up going down it. And fully loaded in a Governed truck going up it, takes forever and a day to going up. Use to make that run from Michigan to Sac and back.
This video is a example of why trucks are built with automatics now with all of the high revving and grinding by these daisy fresh steering wheel holders.
Jeff, this camera set up is fantastic. Getting to see everything that's going on with the shifts is awesome and really adds something extra to the content, especially during a long haul. Thanks for including the panned out angle to capture it all!
shoot i had to double clutch my truck in real life these past 2 weeks to help get the clutch pedal unstuck. so am off work today because i need a fuel tank strap and clutch pedal adjustment and possible wiring issue on the left taillamp. but since i was close to the terminal and had no other freight said screw it get the truck checked out and fixed.
My neck of the woods! Made the trip from Winnemucca,NV to Boise,ID so many times over a 6 year span. Very cool to see tiny towns like McDermott,NV and Jordan Valley,Or in the game. Accurate for the most part. Questionable on other parts. But all in all.... Great video. Had fun watching it.
I cant wait, or at least wish this game would add CB functions, like in the old 18 Wheels of Steel games. ask for things like weather reports, police activity, general chatter and stuff it brought a good bit of life to your game... along with schedueling you AI workers, but that was a game where certain loads were always available on certain days at certain times, unlike this game. Anything over 2000 RPM really shortens the life of the engine. it's better to shift around 1700. I know this is a Sim, Just speaking from IRL experience. :)
Agreed, I always shifted at around 1300 - 1500 RPM IRL. For me though it seems like the trucks in game are pretty powerful even under a really heavy load, I still find myself overrevving in game quite often because I'm not used to accelerating as fast as it seems to in this game

Hey Jeff, as always I love your content. :) Just thought I'd let you know, the latest patch 1.35 is in an experimental beta and let me tell you, Arizona looks awesome thanks to Natvander making signs for the state. The other amazing features for the patch are incredible as hell. Just be careful, not all mods currently work on the patch.

Another great video Mr Favignano, really enjoyed and thanks. Also I hate asking questions of you, especially since you've probably answered them hundreds of times in previous videos, but what are you referring to when you talk about V-Sync and are the frame rate drops because of the game or graphic card not being good enough to handle this game. I know my way around computers somewhat but not really the technical stuff....Thanks again....

You will find the T3PA pedals break quickly and then the excess weight makes them a great anchor for a small boat. I went thru two T3PA Pro's and one Add On in a year. Went back to my G27 pedals and have 5 years on them with some easy cleaning. Trying to remove, line up and re-install all the tiny screws on the Pro's is frustrating, especially since even if you get it to work again they break again quickly. Sure they have a nice feel and are more accurate IF they work. Next I plan on switching to Fanatec CSL Elites on my T500.
Go to steam, right click on ATS, go to properties, go to beta, and 1.35 Experimental Beta will be there. Make sure you disable all of your mods if you have any. They also mentioned to start a new profile and back up your save data. You don't have to do that if you don't want to. But at your own risk you can use your current profile but bugs or profile corruption may occur.
