    One tip for the lower bearing removal, cut the outer case that holds the bearings in place. Then you’ve got a nice edge at top of the bearing where you can put your chisel against to. That way you don’t ding up the triple clamp. 🤙🏼

    As a diy mechanic I thank you, your video just reminded me I'm lazy and can do all this work myself, I have a tip !! Get a Long shafted drift and use a vise grip channel clamp to fix the triples to a wood table while drifting the bearing off ...... you'll thank me later ;)

    Thanks for the video, was sitting here with a kx80 shaft trying to figure out if the steering shaft has a thread or is pressed. I think if you used a brass dolly to firmly knock around the bearing it may come loose, I’m about to try the same so will confirm if that works

    What if the headset doesn’t fall out of the frame … like mine doesn’t want to come out

      I just had that same problem but come to find out my bottom bearing was exploded

    Whats this bike worth restored because i have a 98 kx250 restored to pristine condition with all original oem plus all upgrades and tons of extras i had a guy offer to buy it for 10 grand but it was a gift from my daughter so i told him it wasn't for sale 😢
