Also be careful because its one of the loneliest countries in the world, its difficult to make friends, even for some japanese, i live in Tottori city (yes i know , why tottori?) so its kinda difficult to make friends, specially if you dont know good japanese, you can get extremely lonely, even if you have good japanese, and im aware that even in big cities people struggle to have close relationships, im not saying it would be the same to you if you decide to go, just keep the possiility in mind.
He's living an absolutely amazing and peaceful life in Japan, practically being away from all fame and people coming to interrupt him irl, while still being connected with his community..!

It's just occurred to me that Björn is probably gonna grow up speaking 4 languages. Swedish, Italian, Japanese and English is such a wild mix, but it's honestly fantastic to have that level of variety.
Also a thought, if Björn eventually when he's old enough, decides to move to another country, he very well might learn that country's language as well, meaning HIS kid then will probably speak 5 or more languages. wild
not necessarily. so many multicultural kids don't speak their parents languages, except some sentences/words. often they just speak the language the parents speak at home and maybe the language of the country they live in if they go to school where that language is spoken. a lot depends on if they'll put the kid in international or japanese school and if he'll have japanese friends. not sure they speak enough italian or swedish at home for björn to really learn those.

I share the same birthday as Felix and recently found out that I will be a first-time dad in February. Most people, when you talk to them about becoming a parent, tell you how hard it will be and how little sleep you'll get. You will definitely get little sleep me and Felix ended up having our baby 2 days apart weird how the guy I used to watch as a kid and me had a baby at the same time. But focus on the bonding and everything is worth every moment of sleep deprivation. It’s not as bad as most people say. But it definitely is hard work. Also make sure your there for your girlfriend/ wife/ fiancé and she will really appreciate you. YOU GOT THIS THO, GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEW ADVENTURE WITH YOUR WONDERFUL FAMILY.

I share the same birthday as Felix and recently found out that I will be a first-time dad in February. Most people, when you talk to them about becoming a parent, tell you how hard it will be and how little sleep you'll get. You will definitely get little sleep me and Felix ended up having our baby 2 days apart weird how the guy I used to watch as a kid and me had a baby at the same time. But focus on the bonding and everything is worth every moment of sleep deprivation. It’s not as bad as most people say. But it definitely is hard work. Also make sure your there for your girlfriend/ wife/ fiancé and she will really appreciate you. YOU GOT THIS THO, GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEW ADVENTURE WITH YOUR WONDERFUL FAMILY.

They look like totally chill, cool parents, living their life to the fullest. Pewds is a giga-chad, Marzia looks so good after birth and their son is such a cutie, and the dogs have top care. They moved to the country they love the most, and even though they do not seem to have any kind of support, they seem to be managing just fine. I wish I could fulfil my dreams just like you guys did.

Well, your life wouldn’t be their life with babysitter, surfing and so on. Of course, parenting is great but with two regular jobs, neither grandparents nor babysitter - being a parent is not that easy. Manageable, rewarding, full of love - yes, but way more stressful.
They are privileged, otherwise it's hell
