ok i like raiden but he cannot beat alex mercer
alex is faster - more agile and has higher reaction speed due to his mutation
and is able to glide - fly
knowledge is also to mercer because he can consume any living thing to regenerate and also get every memory they have. and due to mutation ( im not sure i just found it on reddit) his iq is 300+
also the last thing and one of his best feats, he was available to withstand a direct hit from a nuclear missile and survive (kind off)
dont forget that he is able to parry so fast and also is able to put on an armor.
Raiden was able to keep up with jetstream sam whose reaction time is even greater than light speed and raiden can tank a nuclear explosion he was able to take armstrong attacks which could create eruption from the ground and lastly his weapon he uses the high frequency blade which can cut through anything after weakening it's molecules and if he uses the murasama blade it's just easy win

Raiden is way more agile, and his combat speed is brutal, also having the murasama sword and the HF katana wich can cut through molecules easily. Also, Alex Mercer knows everything about his victims, that's true, but think that Raiden is a cyborg connected to the internet 24/7.

Alex Mercer survived the nuclear bomb explosion, said nuclear bomb was capable of turning Manhattan into glass or at least disintegrating the entire island, this was said by the Supreme Hunter disguised as Cap Robert Cross and in the alternative ending where you run out In time we can see that the nuclear bomb wiped out almost the entire Manhattan Island, for a nuclear bomb to be able to do that it has to be between the range of 8.16 to 100 megatons.

The guy in the video compared they and Raiden won, it's obvious btw, i mean, Alex is super strong and fast, but Raiden is just faster than him in blade mode and stronger in ripper mode. His feats are also better (most of them)

mercer has literally no way of touching raiden because in his ripper mode + blade mode becomes like 10 times faster than light while mercer is only hypersonic+ and he blade also ignores durability
