Our cross culture (British/Vietnamese) wedding combining all the Vietnamese wedding traditions and ceremonies alongside a British beach wedding into one fun packed day!
We wanted to share this to help give others some ideas on how to combine the two wedding cultures, and what it's like to have a wedding in Vietnam.

Yea that part always cracks me up too. Glad you enjoyed the video.
We paid around $1500 for the western style beach wedding for 50 guests, and around $5500 for the BIG Vietnamese wedding.
Bear in mind that doesn’t take into consideration the pre wedding photo shoot, the traditional house ceremony in the morning, the videographers/photographers, or the tailor made suits and Ao Dao rentals, etc. We also did quite a few things ourselves to keep the cost down as opposed to splashing out on a 5* resort package.
A good part about the Vietnamese wedding is that Vietnamese guests traditionally give the newlyweds money in an envelope which goes into a kind of doll house at the entrance upon arrival, which helps cover the cost of the venue.
