Luca is really one of the great artists of the new generation. He can actually act AND sing. Amazing! Love this!
J'adore Luca Pisaroni, bon chanteur autant que comédien !
Luca is just gorgeous! Amazing actor, amazing singer, amazing personality. And his singing and acting on stage always seem so natural as if he wasn't just playing a character. He just IS the characters he plays. Wonderful, it was him that got me into opera. Love u, Luca! You're great!
Pisaroni is an amazing actor as well as a superb baritone! My fave since Raimondi :)
Even if I don't understand a word, it's just so enchanting to listen to!
Très belle interprétation,,belle voix,,
Magnifique . Quelle belle voix , quelle diction. 0n renoue avec les grands barytons italiens...
Very good
Dear CuddlyGayBear,

What's Salieri's march doing here?
Schrodinger the March was written for the movie haha
i agree
Somebody, please kindly give me the whole performance... Please!
+Madana Bhat-Khandige It's on DVD, and can also be found on line.
Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart. It can be bought on CD or DVD
Bravissimo! I'll see him soon in Vienna. 9th of Beethoven with the Wiener Philharmonica and Gustavo Dudamel! :-D
Thanks for posting, but really - if you are going to end the video before the end of the aria then you should really say that in the title. Its the ending that I like best of all - the whole thing builds to that. Please post the whole thing next time or say 'incomplete' in the title.
hahaha very different look from his role as Caliban :)
Wth? It cuts off >_> FU YT!!!

Non piú ANDRAI, my god i hate when he says AVRAI
+solisespecial the line "...Non piú avrai questi bei penacchini..." appears in the aria, and the word "Avrai" does appear in this aria more than several times, Luca is correct when he sings "non piú avrai" here....
+ThePhantomphan24601 funny ... used to sing this but forgot much of the lyrics. But he is native born Italian. ..so he knows what he's singing. on another note. ...he is really a mediocre lyric baritone singing bass baritone roles?...his voice is not that large at all....is this what is a world class bass baritone these days? I'm sure he is good actor and all....but vocally how far has opera world fallen?
+Michael C I suppose its a matter of preference... I do not believe that Luca Pisaroni is a mediocre singer at all, if he were he wouldn't be as famous as he is... and wouldn't be considered the definitive Figaro. As far as Le Nozze Di Figaro goes I do prefer a baritone in the role of Figaro, a bass-baritone Figaro makes for too heavy a sound in my opinion, I also prefer stronger bass-baritone Count with a heavier, more powerful and angrier Hai Gia Vinta La Causa, and over all Count.
+ThePhantomphan24601 when I say mediocre I refer to the size and quality of his voice...in last 20 plus years ,maybe due to dearth of men's voices and quantity of quality women's voices conversely, they are focusing on acting ability and physical attractiveness /stage appearance of singers. He is nowhere near a bass baritone or what would have been considered one in past.He seems to be a lyric baritone that does not want to deal with lyric baritone high range (what is called a lazy baritone )°this is not to say he is not a talented performer and striking stage presence. One very well known ,famous opera star who had a very lackluster voice for a major opera star was Ruggiero Ramiondi(sp ?).No carrying power and again a lazy baritone singing bass or bass baritone. A voice superior to either of these 2 could found in many major universities.
