That is a doily on the dresser. Simply for decoration. Put special things on it like collectables etc. That Losartan (medication) is for high blood pressure. Tamborine. I see a Creedance Clearwater Revival cd there! Awesome!
You are funny Josh,…whenever you find a decorative piece of fabric you try to work out what it is for an ages….. that item was a chrocheted doily. Doily’s were used as decoration on dressing tables, sideboards etc to put ornaments on. That must have been a cold house. That stove in the bedroom could be stoked up and left lit all night to keep the room warm. Can’t recall the name, but you could even boil a kettle up on the top. There are some funny little windows up high in that house! God that Pool table must have weighed a ton to move! They have a big slate base don’t they? That’s worth something,,,,do hope vandals don’t come in 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

What a magnificent home. All the rooms are like grand aren't they? The family had a lot of writing burau's, there was one in almost every room. And that thing you picked up and called a coaster, is actually called a doily. I think they were used as a protective layer between the furniture and an object, like an ornament.

It’s a strange house Josh…and an interesting find . I must give you credit for the research and knowledge you have gleaned. Matts a nice lad, but a bit like a bull in a China shop…you think things out, he jumps in. Also spirit wise your very respectful , and as I’m a psychic I know spirit appreciate that very much….have to admit I’m not very keen on the investigations inside the churches when you think how many layers of spirits have passed through and IT IS A House of God, so personally I’d rather you didn’t do inside churches. You need to learn a bit more about protection before investigating a house, and knowing how to say prays before and after you leave for and always tell spirit they are NOT allowed to follow you home….nuff said, ask me anything your unsure of and I will help if I can.
