Its so sad, that millions of people around the world who never met shanann, her baby, & girls, have felt more empathy, love, & grieved for them more than he ever did..its hard to not get angry when you see videos of shanann w/her girls knowing they werent valued loved by the one person who was supposed to.. that took a vowel to honor love & take care of ..what a shame.. what a senseless tragedy..😢

Chris Watts is even more bonkers than Scott Petersen because Chris spent 4 years actually being a dad (and seemingly loved being one) before killing everyone. Scott was never a dad and didn't seem to care that Laci was pregnant...but Chris GOT those barrel hugs and songs about him being a hero and was STILL able to kill them. That he had rage for Shannon is understandable, but he simply did not have any reason to kill his girls. Bella straight up lived through hell in the last hours of her life...

Corrections: She did not pull her car into the driveway at 2 AM. Her friend Nicole dropped her off from airport. The neighbor with the video camera on his front porch that recorded Chris packing up truck in early morning, later revealed he lied to the cop about hearing loud fighting between Chris and Shannan. He only said that to get the cop to be suspicious of Chris. Also, Chris was not a “hunk” when Shannan married him. He was an overweight, schlumpy awkward guy. She was not initially impressed with him.
When Shannan & girls spent 6 weeks in N Carolina, the plan always was for Chris to join them the last week which he did. Dr Phil says he never joined them.

Shannan was dropped off by her friend and business colleague at approx 2 am and you see her on camera going into her front door with her suitcase.
@tck3041 dude Shannon was killed in her friends car when they got in it from the airport probably by the son, she was strangled with a bag over her head. That video of her showing up isn't real nor is anything you believe in this case, just facts.
That was an old vivint doorbell capture from a prior trip. She had a different shirt on when she caught her flight into Denver. That’s why we’ve never seen any airport videos of NA and SW at the airport.

Chris joined them the last week. He was there but mostly stayed with his parents and did not show any affection to his children or Shannon.
Well that nutgate thing had happened by the time he got there. So things were strained and he was caught up in that family feud. No way it’s an excuse, but once she cut him off from his family, his resentment and anger built up more.
The only emotion CW showed was smiling

Poor, poor Shanann never saw it coming until she checked her bank account & saw the charge for the meal for two. "The thing" should be serving life in prison for her part in the murders. This is my opinion.

So many incorrect details. I would have thought Dr Phil could afford a semi decent researcher and writer. Also, the title suggests an analysis which didn't happen. This is just "Dr" Phil cashing in on this families tragedy.
My only problem w this part is that there are no cameras on the back of the house and the time he took loading his truck, he absolutely did not put shanann in the truck. You dont seenhim drag or cary anything big enough to be her.

I think the neighbor had heard NK’s temper tantrum when she saw all the beautiful loving photos that covered the walls, even Nikko’s ultrasound. CW was having to “ground” NK. Their neighbor was the only one of everyone interviewed that said they argued.

If she had really wanted to "inspire him to re-engage" perhaps she should have put down her phone, stopped making constant intrusive videos, and just BE with him in a genuine way. There is no excuse for Chris to have killed his family, of course, but she was out of control with the constant social media postings!
I'm in the minority on this case. No, I think Chis Watts was a straight up sociopath, unable to really connect to anyone or anything. But this cookie cutter analysis of this case doesn't help. We know all the basic facts outlined here. But what's missing? The significant financial stress--they'd been bankrupt in 2015 and were ready to file again. The 24/7 nonstop videoing of the family even when the girls cried and begged not to be filmed. Shanann's insistence that the girls were sick, or allergic (she took them for repeated testing, though they couldn't find anything wrong) and racked up 135K in medical bills. They had no health insurance. Not even for the girls. The state offers health insurance for children, free. Why didn't they have it? The fact that Shanann was disrespectful of her husband on those videos, calling him slow and stupid. That Shanann was texting her 2 friends trying to figure out how to get the house from Chris and get him out, so they could move in and help share the bills. (at the same time she was texting Chris and begging to tell her what was wrong), Nicole planned on moving in to that house with her, with her children. Am I blaming the victim? NO! I don't think she asked to be killed or deserved to be killed. And those children certainly didn't. But by not looking at the ENTIRE picture, you can't understand what happened. It was a perfect storm. Chris was never emotionally connected to his family. He had no feelings. He put up with them. When he found an out they all became expendable.
Oh yea cause most young couples who have only been married a handful of years never had financial problems or declared bankruptcy! 🤨🙄🙄🙄 I personally know three families who went through her same thing and the guy didn't off his family. He had no balls. Plain and simple. His mom currently has them in her purse.

Her parents have said they named her Shannon, spelled Shannan. The pronunciation was changed by Shannan as an adult to Sha-nan because she liked the sound better than just plain Shannon.

All this was certainly valid in this instance however some people (especially in my part of the world) are a lot more stoical than others, even in the most trying of circumstances. Getting hysterical in a situation makes the police's job harder and wastes valuable time. If we start judging guilt on the basis that someone is not emotional enough, that's a very broad-brush (and dangerous) approach.
Some people say they believe that when Chris was strangling his wife to death, he was actually killing his mother. I believe that when Chris was strangling his wife, it was his evil mother's hands around her throat.
