If you look at a lectern from the bottom it's also just a plank but if you rotate the electron you can make rotating roofs and planks it just looks weird from the top

Back then the top and bottom of the furnace texture was like literally a copy of the stone texture.

The loom also has a bottom with the wood plank texture (I think)
It's just not the glowstone does in the gunpowder and the redstone that looks the same it's also the sugar

Gun powder, glowstone dust, redstone dust, and suger has deference in colours
the bookshelf doesn't have a bottem. it recycles it from oak planks, just like crafting table

What's crazy is even after learning the chickens are also derpy, I still just see them with two black dots.
Also when looking at a piglin, if you think of the nose as the eyes, it makes them look like anime girls. Cuter.

If you outline the top of that I can see it much better because when I look at it it’s not like a cyclops I’m trying to look at it and think about a cyclops but it’s not working
the furnace as well has the same it has a stone bottom
The cactus has a similar look on the bottom of it to a wood log. Credits to Skip The Tutorial for showing me that one.

Another items with icon inconsistency is the item frame when you place it it doesn’t even have a iron sword on it it’s just a blank because the item inside it is optional I don’t get why they put an iron sword inside though it’s a little confusing same with the glow item frame
