Trail cams have come such a long way over the years simply amazing ! Great review as always Dave. Cellular game cameras are illegal to use during hunting season here but still very cool for use outside of the hunting season. I actually like it as a security camera. Great review as always Dave . Thanks for the amazing video, I might get a few of these for the cemetery I have been taking care of. Markers are being stolen, destroyed, and painted on. Trash all over the entrance, people ripping up signs. It's ridiculous!!

Nice to see you unboxing the camera and all the things which come with it! It’s good you can change the camera tilt - to do this on our cameras we have to put a sloped piece of wood behind the camera.

I was very impressed till you mentioned it wouldn't tilt upwards over 90°. That's a problem for what I use them for. Like you mentioned, some trees aren't perfectly straight and I actually have that very issue where I put one of my other camera's. Another thing I noticed.....I put my camera's in areas sometimes in early fall where there's still little light getting to the solar panel because of the leaves/foliage. I use mine as trail camera's. So, in roughly 3 months (I start watching my deer movement about 2 months prior to season opening) I have to take a couple of my camera's down and take them home for a recharge. By the time I get them back in the woods, the leaves are falling and the solar panel helps then. It's just that months window where the battery gets low because I put them out while there is still green leaves on the trees. My point is, when I take my camera's down for the recharge, you know what I mean when I say I just unscrew it from the mounting bracket....easy and fast. With this camera, since it's made to the mounting bracket, you'll have to take the whole thing down to be able to take it home for a recharge. A little extra work. Lastly, what's it's detection range? Comparable to the others?

I bought 3 of these this fall and although they work great in mild temperatures and weather they do NOT pan in freezing weather but can still tout up and down …also I found the microphone 🎤 sound feedback noise terrible but other than that …the data plans available for these are not cheap … I’m in Quebec using the Bell Canada cellular provider and it cost me $154 cad for 24 GB of data or 6 months worth!

I have found your videos to be really helpful. I was all set to buy a Tactacam based on your videos but a PTZ is a better fit for me. I saw another video of yours on a PTZ but you found it very laggy so I headed for a Tactacam but fortunately found this video before I ordered that. Ordered a TC17 today. I’ll actually be using it as a camera to monitor some goats we keep fenced in and I need to watch 2 legged visitors and coyotes etc.

Good review Dave like Always. I have one too.My sound is horrible plus those really little screws that u have to use to mount it are REALLY SMALL. Last one is it been really cold and REALLY windy here.My pan is froze up or something.I have to drive 1 hour away to see what's going on.But I don't mind thr camera. Your information video is more helpful than the instructions provided. Campark IT Service center is Not Helpful with my questions. You have to email China and wait until the next day for a response.
No live people to talk to.
If you have great cell coverage, this camera will work faster.

It pixelates at first of video because it just turned on. It isn't powered constantly so to save power, only turns on with motion or when you request live feed. It's why I chose a standard ptz cam and made my own battery and panel setup. Also has a 36x zoom and 8mp picture which is nice for getting tag numbers or to id somebody clearly.

Great video. My question is are you able to just record onto a SD card or do you have to have some kind of a contract with someone? I just want to have it record motion on my property and remote area that I don’t have any cell service or even satellite yet.

That is a pretty fair price for a pan and tilt cellular camera.
Being some standard cell cams cost that much.
$10 a month is from what I have used about that standard monthly fee's for most cell cams.

Good review but something I didn’t hear say about it, does it have a zoom feature? I’ve seen similar cameras with similar features plus zoom.
Awesome video! Is there away you can select the trigger time it takes between videos or pics like 5, 10, 30 secs up to 1min, 5min, or 30 mins? Also downloading videos to a computer?...Thanks
Good cameras I have 2 on my property because I have a dirt bag neighbor . Cameras are 1/2 mile from my house , can pull on my phone from anywhere.

Another great video. PTZ I believe stands for Pan, Tilt, and Zoom! I didn't see you zoom in on anything. I am thinking of getting one of those cameras for video surveillance at my hunting camp. When you view your videos does it use a lot of data? What is the range of the camera? Was the range sufficient for you?

What does the alarm feature setting do? Off or On? Does it sound an alarm on the camera when motion is detected, or does it sound an alarm on your cell phone? Thanks.

What’s your recommendation for best cellular trail camera? There’s a video on UA-cam where a guy compares the Reconyx to a $28 tasco and the Reconyx misses many many pictures attached to the same tree. Have you experienced anything like this?
I still prefer Reolink’s but there more and more competition (which ultimately will benefit all us consumers). I’ll be testing numerous popular cell cams head to head in the near future 👍
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial when you do that test you should pick you up one of those $28 tasco’s and mount them all same height or same pole/tree to see if any of the cameras are indeed missing pictures.
Can you shut off the video feature to record only still images? We are wanting to use at our camper & turn off the camera when we are sitting on the deck & don’t need it recording.
You can turn the camera’s sensor off and it will not detect motion or record videos. This can be done via the app
Is it free to watch it live anytime or do you pay a monthly subscription?
There is a monthly fee to use this camera (and any other 4G camera)
Thanks Dave just got this for Christmas- can you give me a comparison to the Keen? What you like better about either, below you said video was better iyo but anything else? As the price point is so similar was debating returning and buying the Keen.
The Keen is obviously camouflaged. The other big difference is the Keen has no glow ir at night (940nm)
I have the Reo Link PT Go and the Keen , So far so good , Im thinking of a good reason to get this one now ,

They seem to work well at 6’-8’ high. With that said I’ve operated them from 1’-10’ 👍
Mine stopped working fir some reason and my data card still has data plus my batteries 🔋 were topped up and I cannot get them to come back online here in Canada
How far away will the sensor pick up like Reolink not but like 26’
The sensor distance varies with the mounting height and angle but I get animals at 40-50’

Thanks for the vid. I have some issues with the video codec coming from the cams card, the cloud or app. I could not work with the footage on my software on the mac. Also the detection was not satisfying sometimes. Hope you can give me a hint. Best from Germany.

The Reolink has better quality videos. The Reolink also gives you many more settings and customizations. With that said that comes at a higher price.

I have a guy in rural Virginia breaking into my building, cellar, car, house etc. only internet option is satellite(slow, no starlink yet). That said I don't know anything about this kinda stuff but I do understand hunting and that's what I am doing vs the guy trespassing. He only shows up when I am not there... I need to catch this guy he ruined 2015 SUVI left there. He kicked in my kitchen door, he's broke into my shed stole all my lawn equipment and building material! A true nightmare, kid has bad drug problem he's about 22 lives with his parents. I can't do anything unless I can match his face to my property! It's 6 acre lot by its self neighbor is about 10 acres away and trees block their view. I live 4-5 hours away it's house I bought to fix up and resale but this kid has turned this whole thing into a nightmare.

Buy a bunch of Apeman trail cameras -- they are fairly cheap and reliable and while the video is not high quality at least you can buy several to try to get enough video of him to show the sheriff. Good luck. I am dealing with a similar situation but it's the "well to do" neighbors who are trying to take part of our 4 acre property. I have to catch them now to charge them with trespassing to extinguish their claim.
One thing I did that you might want to think about is to come to your property with a partner hiding in the back seat. Then have your partner leave like it's you, but you stay hidden -- bring a book to entertain yourself and try to catch the kid in the act. Be armed and safe though. We do this with our neighbors. We caught her once but my husband was afraid to go confront her...... we're over that now. Next time we'll catch em.
I need a camera to catch a vehical tearing up our base ball diamond, 4th time now and has caused much damage. My question is what kind of distance will it take to trigger this camera??

Which PTZ camera that you have tested has the longest detection range? Also, what are you do about snow on your solar panel do some panels work better at keeping snow off
Thanks for watching. That’s a great question. I find that all their detection ranges are very similar. I’m yet to test them side by side but I haven’t noticed any real differences between them. As far as the snow, it can build up and deteriorate the panels effectiveness. I haven’t found a way around that.

Hey Mr. Dave, I have watched this review and your ebitcam review, I can only get Verizon where I’m at, reolink is your favorite I know, but I found out they will not work with Verizon, so if you could only get Verizon in your area, would you choose the ebitcam or the cam park based on how long you’ve had them, I am waiting patiently for an answer please
Thanks for watching. It’s a close comparison. I’d probably pick the Ebitcam because it had better audio on its videos (my Campark has audio issues on some videos). The Campark does give more settings options via the app vs the Ebitcam. Video quality is very close on either camera. With that said both cams have been working well for me and it’s a tough choice
How much does the plan cost?
Can I have it in another country and be able to control it from the USA?
My camera worked for two weeks and then stopped connecting. I have gone through every possible reset scenario to try and resolve and it still doesn’t work. The service contact is in China and uses a translate app and that continuously reply’s will recommendation to charge. I would recommend buying any other brand !

This camera doesn’t have as many options or have as good of quality of videos when compared to the Keen (in my opinion)

Off the topic, but I see your heated vest. What do you use for power pack on it?
I use the supplied power bank a majority of the time. If I know I will be out for an extended period of time I’ll use a larger 20,000 ma power bank (the pocket zipper that holds the battery won’t close because of the size but it seems to stay in just fine)
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial I see your face on some of the facebook ads for the heated vests. It seems they are all the same company but the ads are under several different names. Some offers include a battery and some don't include the battery. I've heard recommendations to make sure the vest I buy not have proprietary batteries included where I am reliant on purchasing only their batteries.
The facebook ads seem to be touting the same product but as I said, under different names. I've seen the prices range from $59 without a battery to $139 with a battery.

None of the cams zoom optically, only digitally which isn’t ideal. Reolink just released the TrackMix which does a pretty good job of zooming. I’ll be testing it soon 👍

Yes, each camera has its own plan. I recommend Eiotclub SIM cards. Most affordable plans I’ve found 👍

Thanks for watching. Yes, this camera comes with a solar panel to keep it charged. There is no limit on the live view (that I’m aware of) but keep in mind you are using data the entire time you’re connected to the live view
What are the costs of using a cell based game/security camera as far as data and being connected 24/7?
Most if not all cellular cameras won’t record 24/7 only when motion is detected. I personally use less than 2gb of data per cam per month
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial I have a spot I would want to check anytime during the day or night all year long, being able to have access any time would be great to keep an eye on out on our hunting cabin when we are not nearby. eufy even has security cameras will solar that have sim cards for cell service I did not know what the rates were for data consistently.
@@JettBlast I want to clarify, you can have access 24/7 (log in and check your cabin anytime you desire) it just won’t be recording videos and storing them the entire time.

Soo does the solar panel have to be right with the camera and if so does it have to be plugged in at all times how does that's work
The panel has a cord that lets you mount it away from the camera (approximately 12’). You can operate the camera without the panel but of course the battery will go dead. Depending on temperature and how many videos your cam is taking, it may last several weeks without the panel connected
Mine stopped panning left after 2 months.

This camera comes with the data SIM card needed to operate the camera. It’s shown at the 1:20 timestamp. It has a small amount of free data to get you up and running (and to test your camera out) but you will eventually need a monthly plan to operate the camera. This camera be used no matter what carrier your smartphone is using (that does not affect its operation)

Double check you have notifications turned on. Open the app and click on the bell icon (below live view screen, second icon from left). I was also make sure Detection recordings is turned on.

When these cams are designed, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever you should have to pay a monthly data fee. Unless you have to see it from miles away. I need one around the house without having to pay a useless data fee. What's the best one for that?
I really like the Reolink WiFi cameras. You can get a pan and tilt option (Argus PT) or standard WiFi cameras at an even lower price. 👍

Thanks for watching. Reolink has a better quality camera (and footage) but comes at a higher price tag. Reolink also has many more settings via the app. With that said the Campark camera operates nearly identical to the Reolink’s camera and is more compact camo unit 👍

Ordered a camera from linked website and there is no indication on the site that the camera is coming from China via China Post which can take up to 111 days. My order had tracking record for a few days and now has "No Tracking Record". I question if it is even legit. I would not have ordered it if I would have known it was coming from China. Viewers need to know about this situation before purchasing.

Update: I received the camera even though the tracking information was unavailable. Delivery time was 2 weeks from China.

Great review and video but I don't think I like how technology has become such a big part of hunting myself. I think maybe Arizona is right banning trail cams on public land at least after season starts. I know I wouldn't like cameras following me in the woods controlled by strangers or government. Feels real Big Brotherly to me if you know what I mean.

I HAVE THE REOLONK GO PT FEEL ITS BETTER THAN THIS use verizon data plan, with a solar panel ran good till november temps and cloud cover, than battery went dead, camera was 150 miles a way
