Smart even Harmonic injection in single phase inverters can lead to Bus clamping that reduces the switching losses, but it may cause conduction losses
These harmonics are friendly harmonics, that is, they do not cause harm!
Why can't we add even triplen harmonics, I mean why only 3rd, 9th are added and not 6th harmonic in this technique?
6th is again an even harmonic. Just add them in Matlab and you'll find no benefit from this which you won't get from 2nd or 3rf
