Different chef, different philosophy to cooking. Naoto operates more based on logic than feelings, so ofcourse she would do something like that by the book, since from what I recall she isn't any more experienced than the other girls when it comes to cooking, just more self aware. Rise on the other hand is all about passion and raw emotion and more passionate she is about the one she cooks for, spicier her food, or so it would seem.
I love this interaction. Here, we get a little bit of insight into why Rise acts the way she does around the protagonist and why she attaches herself so much to him. Apart from overall being a very goal-oriented person, that is. I think the characterization of her possessive nature is bred from the fact that she's afraid of losing and being alone. During the course of her development, it's easy to see how much she's lost of herself. She's compromised her own identity by acting out the whims of those who want to sell her as a personality, she's always been by herself because she was never good at making friends; she was alone the entire time, being unable to truly form relationships with people in the showbiz industry. Nearing the end of her development, she realizes that she's lost her career, the thing that she worked so hard and gave up so much to grow. Someone with that record of loss and being alone would easily feel neglect and would rightfully be scared to lose more. And that's why she clings so hard onto the things she does hold and is possessive of those things. Here is where this scene comes in. Her tenacious nature in seeking companionship comes not only from loss and isolation, but consequently from a desire to have a normal life. In fact, to those who complain that Rise reminds them too much of their average basic, clingy high school girl, it's because that's the point. She WANTS to be a normal high school girl: she wants to go to school, make friends, have fun and hang out, and _find a boy to fall in love with_ . Some say that she tries too hard, but again, that's the point: she works very hard towards the things she wants. She wants so much to experience things normal girls do (love included) that she couldn't as an idol. She's never had a chance to be normal. During this event, she outright says: "It's good to be normal", and lists a collection of rather ironic-sounding dreams she has: going to college, getting married to a man she loves, getting a house and a dog, cooking, drinking tea; just living a normal happy life together with the protagonist. It's honestly quite heartening.
Very well thought out. People forget Persona 4 is entirely about character struggles. Heck, even in the Arena games Rise is struggling about losing her place as the team's support once she finds another person whose power is just plain better than hers.
VMMMCXV It’s good to have goals and fall in love, but you’re forgetting that love isn’t something you can just force on people. The other person gets to decide who he/she wants to be with too. If the other person reciprocates your feelings that’s great, if not respect his/her decision and move on.
VMMMCXV Rise shouldn’t be too afraid of losing the mc because she’d still have the rest of the investigation team who can console her. Like I said Yu can decide who he wants to end up with as well, and Rise should learn to respect that. Also why does Rise seem to only compete with Marie when there are plenty of other girls who like Yu? That rivalry seemed totally random and totally unnecessary.
In mi Patria (México), We actually do mixtures with spicy gums or candies with chocolate, and I have to admit it, it gives an unique taste, flavory and eccentric, quite rare but it does work, but the fuck I will allow Chie, Yukiko or Rise to do chocolates with their 0 to death cooking experience.
*Rise after spilling her heart to the man she loves and telling him she wants to marry him in the future* Yu- Good luck with that *Gets up and walks away* As soon as I saw that happen I thought of that XD
Chie is the best at trying to learn at least, she only messed up Yu's chocolate cause she put a bit too much water tempering the chocolate... Which was precious and kinda hit me in a soft spot ngl.

When it comes to P5. Ann and Makoto make very compelling arguments on romance routes. Then again Priestess and Lovers are my top 2 social links/confidants. Even snarky Yukari from P3 gets a pass.
The relationship isn't canon as Yu is hinted to have no girlfriend in the Arena games (note he planned to spend the time with Nanako during most of Golden Week). It is, however, very much canon that Rise has a crush on Yu, something that is not true for the other girls (except for Marie I guess). It's similar to how Yukari and Aigis love the P3 protagonist but we don't know which girl the protagonist loved.
No, not really. In Persona Q they were just near the start of that bonding period where Aigis was trying to keep the protagonist safe from Death, which is when her Aeon Social Link begins. Anything beyond that is just the players projecting and reading into the extra crap Q added for fanservice.
@@robertogarcia7569 The anime made me ship Yu/Rise. That said, I'm glad they handled it the way they did there, with Yu staying single in the end. It's more fair to the other girls (even if I _personally_ wouldn't pick them in a million years).
The funny thing about Adam and Eve is that according to certain sources Eve was Adam's second wife. According to said sources God originally only made Adam but when Adam saw that all the other animals had mates he got lonely and tried to "mingle" among them but none could "satisfy" him. Adam then asked god to give him a helper and God complied by making Lilith out of the filth on the ground. However Lilith would not submit to the will of Adam so she was banished, after which she had a kid with Satan/a demon who was Bahamut as well as becoming the reason for nocturnal emissions. Eve was then made from the rib of Adam, which if you think about it made them either twins or the same person (genetically speaking).
Adam and Eve originated from the holy bible! It was stated there that god created Adam to inhabit the world, and Eve, who is a female, to accompany him (or something like that). Nier only drew inspiration from that to pull some intense symbolism mumbo jumbo, just like pretty every game does. I haven't played Automata yet, so I have no idea why Eve was also a guy, but they must have had a good reason for it, most probably also for the symbolism.
